Chloe let out a laugh, at Lavi's bet, "Okay..you really do find the craziest s**t to bet with...then again, you have my glowstick." She said, in her usual manner, however her face still has her blush on it. She shuffled the deck and dealt out the cards.
Chloe dug in her pockets and pulled out some more spare change. "Eh....cash...all I have...besides..another thing." She said, teasing him a bit, although she had no idea why she was also flirting with Lavi.
Cho looks at her hand, almost let out a squeak as well, 5 of diamond, 4 of diamond, queen of heart, jack of diamond and the ace of spades....please...let me have something good...

"It's not crazy s**t! This stuff is valuable!" Lavi made a face at her. He saw a feather on the windowsill and picked it up. I think I'll bet this the next round... Lavi looked at his cards and saw that he had a decent hand.

Chloe sighed and said, "Well....I'm a trade in two cards." She announced, gulping a bit before looking at her cards. Once she saw them, she could have facepalmed...she traded her queen and ace for a 3 of diamond and a 4 of spade.
Luck..I hate you....i really do hate you..why couldn't I have gotten a 4 of diamond..I would have had a straight! she moaned mentally in defeat, her eyes showing her little mental rant.

"Trading cards never did anyone good..." Except Allen oAo Lavi put a red brooch on top of the handle. He smiled at Chloe and asked her, "Feeling lucky enough to raise?"
He smirked. She looks apprehensive... she must have bad cards~ He laughed inside.

Chloe gulped and diverted her gaze again, looking at the pot instead of Lavi. "I'll pass.." She said, although in a small whisper voice. Lavi was starting to get to her, and from the look on his face, he must already know that she got s**t cards again.

((I don't know if this can really happen....but it just did, so there!))
Road stood up and looked around, there was a crowd of people standing around her. "Hey, kid, are you ok?" Said someone in the crowd as they helped her to her feet. The person, a woman with long wavy blond hair, helped dust Road off and sighed. "Do you want to go to the doctors?"
Road shook her head.
"Well, maybe I can take you home...do you know where you live?"
Road shook her head.
The woman got worried, "Do you know your name?"
Road shook her head.
"Oh no..." Taking Road's hand she lead her away, "Come now, perhaps there's a family member around that will recognize you" She said as she took Road's hand.
Road was still a little dazed, "What...happened?"
The woman looked to her, "It seems the pain from whatever injuries you had before," She said as she pointed to the bandages on Road's head,"Was so bad that it caused you to lose your memory temporarily..."
Road looked up to her, "Huh?"
The woman laughed, "I'm a doctor, you see, and I've seen this happen to a couple of patients....you'll remember again.....probably..." The woman said the last part quietly.

Esme looked over at Chloes cards and gulped. She looked down at her cards and sweat droped. s**t.. Was all she can think after imaging how happy Lavi would be with them losing.
