dEx saw Drago leaving to check on what had happened with the Bone Manipulator as she and Shadow were finishing their lunch. She sighed as she thought about it. Her deepest wish was to join in and help try to figure out the problem now, but she knew that she would be in the way. If the stranger had killed Bone then she knew that she had no chance against him. The only thing that she could do now to help would be to train and grow stronger as quickly as she possibly could.

As she and Shadow finished their lunch they got up and walked back to where they had run into Sakura before. After a couple of minutes of playing around they saw Sakura coming back from the Hokage's office. "Hey Sakura! Would you mind showing me some more of those element seals?" asked dEx hopefully. Sakura stopped and smiled at her. "Sure I have time to show you some more." she said with a smile. Then Sakura reached into her pouch and pulled out another set of seals and handed some of them to dEx.

"Okay, these are Ice Seals. They work very much like the fire seals except that they freeze things instead of burning them." explained Sakura. dEx nodded as she watched Sakura infuse one of the seals with Chakra. Then she threw it to a tree and that part of it was immediately covered in ice. dEx took one of the seals that she was holding and infused it with chakra. Then she threw it out onto a nearby rock.

"Ice." she said as she kept focusing and the rock was covered in ice. Then she pulled out a fire tag and infused it with chakra and threw it at the rock. It caught fire melting the ice from the rock upon contact. Then dEx took a moment to form hand seals as she focused her chakra. "Shadow Clone." she said as she created one shadow clone. Then she focused her chakra into another one of the ice seals and threw it at the clone's feet.

(I know, I had written the 5th post, but then accidentally copied something else. I tried to go back and get it and it apparantly reposted the first one again))
The ice seal froze into ice as it struck the shadow clone's feet. Then the shadow clone was stuck where it was standing and couldn't move. dEx smiled as the clone was trapped and she focused chakra into her arm. "Strong Fist Style!" she called out as she lunged at the shadow clone. She hit it hard multiple times in the chest causing it to disappear. She looked back at Sakura who was nodding approvingly. "I think you've got the hang of the ice seal now." said Sakura.

dEx looked down at Shadow and smiled. Then she looked back at the seals that Sakura had left with her. "From the color I would venture to guess that they aren't water seals. Oh I know." said dEx with a smile. She focused some chakra into the seal and the placed it on a nearby tree. Then dEx motioned for Shadow to follow close behind her as she moved a good ways away from the tree just in case it where to fall or drop a branch.

"Thunder." she said. There was a loud boom and crack as a split went up the tree like a lightning bolt. "Just as I suspected." said dEx with a smile as she tossed the seals up and caught them again. "These are thunder seals." said dEx. Then she looked at the seals in her hand and then back to Shadow. "I wonder what would be the best way to use these." said dEx to her black dog who wagged his tail at her.

"That's a good question dEx." said a voice behind dEx and Shadow. "So what's the answer to it, Sakura?" asked dEx as she turned around to see Sakura approaching her. "Hmm, I guess I could tell you." replied Sakura with a smile. She reached into her pouch and pulled out a thunder seal of her own. dEx watched Sakura closely as she focused chakra into the seal.

Then she threw it high into the air above dEx and Shadow. "Thunder seal." said Sakura once it was high enough up. There was a flash of light and a loud boom that caused dEx and Shadow to loose their bearing for a moment as the ringing in their ears disabled them. Once they seemed to be recovering enough to hear her Sakura walked over to dEx. "Are you two okay?" asked Sakura kindly.

dEx nodded to her and Shadow wagged his tail. "See it can offer a nice cover for a surprise attack or for a retreat. Just like the other seals how much the seal does depends on how much chakra you focus into it." explained Sakura. dEx looked at her and nodded. Then she focused chakra into one of the thunder seals in her hand and threw it to the ground away from them. When it struck the ground beneath them shook and there was a loud boom that sounded almost like an explosion.

By this time people in nearby houses and shops were looking out of their windows and doors to see what was going on. dEx and Sakura noticed the concerned villagers and they both laughed. "Alright, let me show you something that is a bit quieter." said Sakura with a grin as she reached into her pouch to pull out another kind of seal. She tossed some of them over to dEx.

dEx looked at the seal closely since she had been trying to memorize the differences between them. Later she would get Shadow to recognize them by smell so that they could pick up on traps. If she could spot them by sight it would allow her to react better in a battle if her opponent used one on her. Also, if Shadow could pick them up by scent he could help her figure out the best course of action if for some reason she couldn't see what her opponent was using.
