Um, okay, the panel....
When they let us in, they gave everyone one piece of gold. o_o; It was actually chocolate coins, but on one side it had a big G, and on the other a picture of Gambino and the words "In Gambino We Trust."
They also gave some people guns, and some people bullets. Like the foam nerf kind. And L0cke said that if someone shot Lanzer he'd give them a halo.
L0cke got shot twice. One of the newer admins (Either 72^2 or kaia9, I think...) got shot like four times. x_X; Lanzer got shot once, but his assailant didn't really get a halo. <.<;; Lanzer got shot at again, but Vo caught the bullet in mid air. o_o;;
There was a slideshow presentation thing, and then there was a Q&A session.
There's going to be additions to housing so that we can
- have neighborhoods and live near our friends
- interact with our friends and their houses
- have live chat in the neighborhoods
- have animated avatars that move around in the neighborhoods
There's going to be a casino. We saw some of the items in progress, but L0cke was wearing a straight jacket so he couldn't sit down, and he was standing in the way of the screen so I couldn't see any of them. But one of them was called "the family jewels" and was apparently a belt of some sort for the guys. <.<;
Other back wings are coming, but they haven't decided exactly how. It will be very very hard. Not impossible, but hard.
The guild money will become useful. There might be guild housing of some sort.
There will be new kinds of posting. The forums will be redone. Friendslist/ignorelist will be more functional.
The battle system is less far along than I thought. <.<;;; The admins have had lots and lots of meetings, but they still can't choose a way of doing it. Not only do they have to work within the limits of the current technology AND their budget, but they want it to be really good and unique, so they're working really hard to come up with ideas... But they still haven't picked one. But they're working on it.
Someone asked Vo if he would go to her prom with her. He said to tell him when and where it was. xd
They had a drawing and gave away some posters and Tshirts. They didn't throw any into the crowd like they did last year. I think it was 'cos the room they were in was freaking huge, so they couldn't have thrown all the way to the back. It would have been unfair. 3nodding
The music building in Barton was originally for sharing music so that you could have songs in your house or whatever, but they don't know if they can actually do that 'cos of legal stuff and so on.
They're also going to fix up Avatar 2.0 so that the items can integrate better. :3 There was stuff like items that are multi form and items that are multi pose and things like that.... Yea.
There was more at the panel, but I can't remember right. now. I think I got all of the important stuff though. x3x;;
For the booth-thing...
There were two new posters. Girl shopkeepers and bubbles. Gaian characters and Grunny.
There were three new Tshirt designs. Blue with Kiki kitty and bubbles. Black with Gcorp logo and Grunny. Gcorp logo with mulitple colors; green, blue... I forget what else.
They had a giant wheel with items on it. If you spun the wheel, you'd get the item it landed on. There was one PWNED spot from which you'd get nothing, one poster spot, one Tshirt spot, and one SPECIAL spot which would give you a chance to spin agian for the items on the inner circle, which included things such as a halo, DJs, bunny slippers... Things like that. 3nodding
I got kill lanzer pants. crying ;;

Neighborhoods? Cool. I'm going to need multiple houses for that though as I seriously doubt all my friends are somehow going to move into the same neighborhood. xd

*nods* For me there's two groups that come to mind first, this one and my Koshielf one, so it'll probably be one of those two, and then I'll just try to encourage others to join me....or constantly switch neighborhoods, if it's allowed. blaugh

I'd like to live with Mister Cacoon and Miss Lexess. IRL friends who introduced me to Gaia. I'd like Mister X to be somewhere nearby as well. Of course, along with Mister X, I'd like as many of my beloved shrinemates nearby as possible. heart

You know ... Instead of a neighborhood, i'd like a giant mansion where everyone of us will be in, and have our own rooms. It would be nice if they experimented with flash a bit and you can get your avatar animated and walk around the mansion and run into other shrine members and talk through an chat room system, like you can type in something and there will be a radius to who all will hear it. Also along with the sprite system, there will be emoticons that you can use, such as the ones you can choose from the list when you post, but your avatar will make the face other than just the emoticon just popping up and what-not. heh probably someday it'll be like that sweatdrop
