Teufelhunde May?Is that a deffinate?Cause I was holding back on getting my IG stuff for a while cause I heard there was gonna be a new codex earlier....then, yknow, there was none so I said screw it and started collecting. It's on for May, the March issue of White Dwarf has a small teaser for it along with some of the things you can expect.

#58 on the Catachan sheet would replicate the Steel Legionaire holding the flag in the picture that's on the command section of the current 'dex. However, it looks like I'd have to buy both to be able to splice them into my Steel Legion army.
I saw Tallarns, Valhallans, Cadians, and Catachans but my poor Steel Legion was left out. Except as a meatshield in front of that new Lemon variant.

As I've heard is that platoons will most probably stay the same, but with the option to buy transport for each squad, and only the 10 man squads will count as 1 killpoint, so the command squads for the platoons won't count (which is a relief).
But we'll just have to wait and see.

But we'll just have to wait and see. Upgrades are done by platoon, not by squad. So if you want to use Chimera's you'll be needing a Chimera for each infantry squad and command squad of that platoon. Attached support squads do not have access to a Chimera though. It has been hinted at that certain platoon will allow for different types of attached units. A mechanized platoon is allowed to attach a Hellhound to the platoon without having it take up a fast attack slot. A light infantry platoon has access to Spearhead Sentinels. Other formations are unknown as of yet. Please do take this with a grain of salt. sweatdrop

lol i just took the salt shaker, but the new command squad (spur thingy) looks pretty awsome, you don't know how long i have waited for them to make th command squad plastic, i'm also glad that they are not dramaticly changing there look like last time, the current cadians look real nice (in mass formations lol, but not as cannon fodder)
