::Soft mumbling could be heard Nyx as she faded in, sitting on the floor with her back propped up against a chair. She drew her knees close to her body and curled up slightly. If someone were to come a bit closer, it would be obvious that she had more than just a few drinks before appearing.::
nnN. ::She gazed down at her feet, her head sloooowly moving from side to side.:: ******** sat like this quietly for a few moments before she looked up and gave the newcomer a drunken wave.:: H...hIi.

:::Cora walks into the Brink main room from the hall, headed straight for the bar. Tha Jaguar is still there and she makes a mental note to inspect it once she gets a drink. But her thoughts are halted when she sees yet another new comer:::
:::he doesn't see her yet, and she doesn't want to startle him:::
Ehem...Hail...I mean... Excuse me, sir...?

The guy looks from side to side, rather freaked that two complete strangers, odd looking strangers, came out of no where. His heart was racing but he managed to talk, sorta.
" I- I'm. Wh- Where am I?" He was trying not to panic, but you could tell the strange circumstance was sinking in.

Hello Nyx... :::She motioned a hello with her hand, and wondered why Nyx looked down yet again. Something was still bothering her. Still the man seemed more in mental angst than she just for the time being:::

::With some difficulty, Nyx used the chair to pull herself onto her feet. Once she was steadied she addressed the man.:: Y' don't really hav t' be scared of this place. S' not all that bad of a place to be... but if y' don' wan'a be here... ::She cleared her throat and tried to lessen the slurring of her speech, pointing over to the door.:: ...you could just leave.

His mouth hung open for a few seconds. It was all a bit much.
"You... you can call me K." He said to Cora. That was as fluent as he could be given the circumestance. When he heard Nyx talking, he thought perhaps she meant that he wasn't welcome, but he recongized eventually that she was durnk. His mouth went right back to hanging open when yet another person showed up.

Very well K. :::She approached him::: No doubt you are confused or at least curious about why you are here, or even where 'here' is. You are not asking as many questions as many of us had when we first appeared here, but perhaps you are subject to the innitial astonishment.
:::She looks around::: Where do I begin...hm. Well, this is a plain of existance outside the realm of time. The people who appear here are from many different points in time from all of existance. Also, it is best to note that while you are here, the time in your world 'stops' so that when you return it will be as though you never left.

*Luke frowned as he watched the newcomer and Cora giving him the "Brink Talk." He was perturbed....The irritation came in a rush. How could they all act like nothing had happened? Like everything was fine?*

Well, K - Something nobody told me when I got here is all the bullshit that goes down here. *Luke feels like he's giving this guy something that no one gave him.* There's some dangerous s**t that goes on here, and you're subject to it just by being here.
*Luke nods to the keys off to the side.* You don't have to stay here if you don't want to. There's a key with your name on it. You find it... *He points now to the door.* You put it in that door. You go back to your own time. And maybe it'll leave you alone.

Now he REALLY didn't feel like he was welcome. He quietly observed all the faces. Luke's seemed cold, and upset about something. Cora's was concerned but caring. Nyx's was...drooling. He looked back to Luke.
"What is your name?"
