"If he likes me better despite barely knowing me then he must not think very highly of you at all," Fox replies, "I don't really know if I could handle this... and he's hurt, so he needs to be taken care of, and I know I don't know how to do that."

"I can do the physical stuff. And you're around enough anyway." he says. "Think about it, at least." he sits up and strips off his shirt. "For now, I think it's time for bed."

Fox usually doesn't sleep in his clothes, but he hadn't brought his nightclothes with him, and it's too much effort to go get them now, so he just takes off his shoes and socks, takes down his hair and gets under the covers next to arrow.

Arrow pulls Fox close and kisses him gently. Finally he'll be able to sleep again. He'd grown so used to Fox's company at night that the past week or so he'd been unable to sleep porperly because of the lack of man beside him. He settles himself in, his head resting on Fox's shoulder and then drifts off into a gentle sleep.

Fox falls asleep quite quickly, since he'd had a bit of a busy day. He slept more or less dreamlessly, at least, none of *those* dreams. Sometime so late at night that it was starting to be morning though, he's woken up. At first he doesn't know what by, but then he notices that the feeling is like a demand for attention, only it seems like mindspeach. Then he realizes that it's the bondbird. He rubs his eyes tiredly and goes out into the living room to see what's up.
Lyr is there, and apparently his wounds were making him too uncomfortable to sleep. Of course, Fox doesn't want to know how he knew that more or less just by entering the room, but he does, "I don't know what to do about it, I don't know anything about birds. Let me go get Arrow."
The falcon makes a sound of protest, and then sends Fox a mental image of the adept stroking the bird's breast feathers. Foxy sighs since it doesn't seem like Lyr is going to let him go back to bed unless he does this, so he goes over to the bird and does as it wanted. He was a bit surprised at how soft the feathers were.

Arrow wakes up as Fox gets out of the bed, his fuzzy mind state doesn't quite register why Fox would be leaving but he stays in a state of awakeness until Fox returns, figuring the adept has only gone to the washroom.

Except the Adept is taking far too long for it to just be a trip to the washroom. Apparently, Lyr was quite enjoying having someone actually caring for him, and wasn't particularly ready to let the adept leave anytime soon.

Arrow finally gives up on Fox coming back and wanders out to see the adept petting Lyr and smiles. "I see you two are getting along..."

Arrow looks at the bondbird sternly. "Now now, Foxy here needs to get some more sleep." he says, putting an arm around Fox. "Besides, he needs to get some rest because I plan on keeping him awake far later then he intends, quite soon." Arrow smirks devilishly.

Fox blushes, a bit shocked that the scout would have so little problem just casually stating that, although he shouldn't really be shocked. He stammers, "A-arrow!"

Arrow shrugs. "Innuendo is fun, and it makes you blush so cutely!" he says. He kisses Fox. The kiss starts out innocently enough, but he soon finds himself backing the adept against the wall, his hands making their way up Fox''s shirt...
