Rose nodded to Maddy then set down her Persian and started looking around the immediate area. She agreed with Maddy and didn't want team flare getting the drop on them.

Rei shrugged and followed the boss's orders.
"Don't see why Flare would be interested in this place, but sure." He looked through some drawers and walked towards the staircase, making sure not to be under it, in the event it fell.

Yamato slowly stepped inside the haunted shack after the others. He hoped that there wouldn't be any ghost jump out and scare him.

Allen looked through the windows even before entering, "I've never been to this place for a reason." He muttered under his breath as he approached the doorway to head in. A shiver ran down his spine as he stepped in, it was like a different world in here. He looked back outside, wondering if he could just wait out there. "Sheesh, even the trees look creepier from inside here." He mentioned offhandedly as he moved to look around with everyone else.

Maddy was just about to start walking up the stairs when one of the flames on a nearby candle turned purple. It leaped from the candle and started to jump along the floor, causing a small purple fire to arise from the parts it touched. The fire soon began to spread rapidly, cutting everyone off from each other.
"What the Hell?!"
She reached into her pocket and let out her Frogadier and Fletchinder.
"Water Pulse and Razor Wind!"
Frogadier shot pulses of water at the flames nearest to Maddy, trying to douse them. Fletchinder flapped her wings furiously, building up power. After a few moments, she released a powerful gale of wind to help put out the fire.
"Everyone! Put out the flames! This place already looked like it was gonna fall apart when it wasn't on fire!"
[Use up to two Pokémon to help put out the fire. Participating Pokémon will earn their evo point for this RP. Lucky Egg and Exp. Share have no effect. The attacks used to put out the fire must involve water or wind.]

Rose called out her Persian and Frogadier from their Pokeballs "Frogadier, Water Pulse, Persian Bubble Beam" Rose ordered.
The two Pokemon used water type moves to help the others put out the fire.

Dark looks around at the rapidly growing flames.
"Damn ghosts!" He growls and tosses two Pokeballs.
A radiant red Gyarados and a Tyranitar appear.
"Good to see you guys! No time to catch up though, use Surf!"
The two Pokemon nod and begin blasting the flames with waves of water.

Michael saw the fire and quickly said , "Quick Squirt, put out the fire, Duckworth please use razor wind to help Squirt out." The Farfetch'd looked between the trainer and the fire and nodded it's head. It then began to spin it's leek and after a few moments it threw the razor sharp wind at the fire putting them out while Squirt was using water pulse to put out the fire.

Ace frowned at the fire, but she has to do something quickly. She tossed her two Pokemon. "Leon, use water gun to extinguish the flames. Amber, Absorb the flames with your ability!" The two pokemon nodded and the squirtle immediately pour out the water from its mouth. Meanwhile, the growlithe attempts to absorb the flames with its flash fire.

Rei jumped back, surprised at the sudden inferno surrounding himself and his team. He hastily sent out his Vulpix and Seadra, then turned to his Zubat.
"Countess, whatever you do, don't fan the fire. Vulpix, head to that section and just start absorbing the fire with your body or something. Thank God for Flash Fire. Leviathan, soak whatever surface looks flammable and don't hit Vulpix." The two went to work quickly, Vulpix glowing a bright red while absorbing the fire, effectively a beacon for the Seadra to avoid.

Allen had been exploring an upstairs hallway and closed in on a window that peered out into the woods. A few moments later he heard Maddy shout and a loud creek on the floor around him. He whipped around to find a small purple fire ball bouncing around joyfully around the hallway, bringing up an inferno behind him, "Tch, Neida! Hurricane!" The Whimsicott on his shoulder leaped forward and spun around a few times building up power with every spin. The little Grass fairy let loose a massive blast of air that tore through the hallway, bringing old pictures off the walls and sending tables soaring through the air. Many of the flames were quickly put out.

Caleb had moved upstairs and was wandering down the hall when he suddenly heard shouts from downstairs. He headed for the stairs only to find that they had been set ablaze. Well so much for that plan. A purple flame the size of his fist floated around him as he rushed back down the hall. It began to bounce off the walls like a ping pong ball, the walls it touched catching fire. "That's just fantastic...." Caleb sighed, pulling out a poke ball and letting out his Mudkip. "Aim a water gun at that little flame..." he ordered, gesturing to the little purple spark.
As the Mudkip reared his head back to launch his attack though, a sudden blast of air came from down the hall. Caleb was pushed backwards, catching his Mudkip as it was about to fly past him. Caleb quickly grabbed the guard railing and ducked down as paintings came his way. Then tables. He hurriedly moved to the side, his Mudkip tucked underneath his arm.

Once all the fire was put out, it was revealed that it had burned through most of the floor, separating the Team into two groups. Maddy, Dark, Yamato, and Michael were stuck on one side, while Rei, Caleb, Allen, Rose and Ace were on the other. Both groups were blocked off from the door. Maddy's group would have to head upstairs and the other group would have to head off down a hallway to the left.
Maddy frowned and rubbed at her eye patch. The smoke had irritated her eye. "Allen, I'll have to place you in charge of those four. You're the next highest ranking member other than Dark, and we can't get over to you."
She took her TADS out of her pocket. "We'll keep in touch, guys. Hopefully there's a back way out."
With that, she lead her group up the stairs and onto the next level of the house. Who knew what could await them up there?

Allen, looked to Maddy as she headed off, his eyes were wide with fear, however he nodded, more to himself than the others, "Alright. So, it looks like we'll have to find a way around." He sighed, "What a dilemma." He waved them forward, taking the lead. "Come on."

Rose nodded to Allen "Alright,since you spoke up first, I hereby declare you to be our temporary leader until we reunite with Maddy" Rose told Allen and petted her Persian "So we await your orders" she hadn't fully made out what Maddy had said.
