((CHAINSAW MAN!!! :'D!!!!))
Juliano screamed like a little girl as he was shooting the man with the chainsaws in the chest. "EEEEEEEEAAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" he could have sworn he almost pissed himself.
Luciano swallowed hard, even the sound of the static worried him and he was already on edge. "Man. . I wish I knew. . . Maybe it's some kind of EM Field? Or. ." Luciano didn't know what else it could be. He couldn't think of anything to explain what it was.

"Well.." he continued, still hesitantly. At least he hadn't just dropped the conversation, so there was a chance his theory could be accepted. "I noticed earlier when I first came up to the building my cell was making static like crazy. I thought it was just the portal to get inside.. then it happened again when those things started attacking, and now it stopped." He paused, wondering if anyone was following him or if he just sounded crazy. "I'm not sure if it's an EM feild that these creatures put off, or if it's a coincidence, but maybe it could help to at least give us some kind of warning..?"

Luciano looked down at Koji's phone and suddenly he had an idea, "Could it be all of our phones that do this?- Actually, I'm hoping it's just yours. . let's test this." he said, he took out his mobile and strapped it to his belt.

Faye settled at the base of one of the tables and waited for the orders to be drolled out. Looking around she noted the different activities of those around her. I could try to help Waffle, but something tells me she'll be just fine so long as no one try's anything else, She thought glancing at her and Sabe. She might be new, but she knew everyone's name and at least one thing about them. She sighed letting her thoughts wonder a little.

Sabe looked at Ikuinen with slight distrust. He had no idea how the runes would affect Waffle, given that most people in her family were either channelers or divine oracles, not the types to deal with runes. Another point he considered were the vast number of scars all over the strange person where runes used to be...
Nonetheless, the rune began to run its course, and Sabe followed through with Ikuinen's instructions.

Skotti pulled a pineapple grenade from his belt and tossed it at the man, it exploded on contact.
The man lay on the ground and skotti said "Heh... I got him..." and he took a breath until the chainsaw started back up and the man stood once more.
"Really!?" shouted skotti as he ran down the hallway to give himself some ground.

I really hope this works, he thought, yet at the same time, I really hope we don't hear any static. I don't want to look stupid for my idea not working, but I would really prefer not to run into any more of those... things The hall remained quiet for a while, aside from the sound of their footsteps and Koij anxiously awaited the result to his theory's test.

[haha I'm Back]
Pen stood leaning to one side he arms crossed and wearing a very tired expression. She didn't have a phone to test the new guy's theory. She more or less relied on the radio since she never needed a cell to call out to anyone. Even when if she did she used the base's phone.
"I'm sorry but what does static have anything to do with whats going on?" She looked mildly puzzled but tried not to look totally ignorant.

The light that Waffle's orb had given off had started to fade, along with the mysterious rune. Waffle's eyes started to flicker open, and Sabe could assume that Waffle was back to normal again. At least judging by appearance.
She looked around yet again, but in a manner less confused and more tired.
"Feeling any better?" Sabe asked, now that Waffle was awake.
"Eh...yeah. I think. Tired with a throbbing headache." Waffle replied, adding a twinge of sarcasm at the end.
Well, Waffle seems to be back to normal. I wonder where everyone else is...

Koji looked up to the question posed. "Well," he said, thinking of the best way to describe his idea."I've been picking up static every time those creatures are around. If the creatures cause the static, then we can tell when they're close. That means we'll not only have time to prepare for battle, but we can also track where they're coming from based on whether or not we're picking up any static." He waited for a response to see if he was making any sense.

Pen rubbed the back of her head trying to figure out this information. Her hand fell to her side as she stood straight once again.

((Sorry I didn't post for a bit. Lost my mini script for a sec.))
Luciano walked down a ways with the group. They came to a 'crossroad', one corridor going one way, and the others a different way. He looked down one of the hallways- which was just bloody in general. He gulped then he said, "This one looks dangerous enough. Maybe then if we go down this hallway, the phone or 'phones' would all go off. . Let's go." he said, leading the way down the corridor.

Pen still not fully comprehending the full concept of the phone's role in this situation followed nonetheless. A gun in one hand a plasma blade in the other and her bladed knuckles still on. She was ready to fight to the death as Luc went off about in his speech. She would've stayed on her on will regardless. Though she was glad that the gang was in complete understanding.
"I swear I can get a Zurg spaceship through time and space but I still don't get how zombie's cellular plan is making a phone go wacky." She muttered trying not to gag on the smell of rotting bodies.

"I'm really not sure myself," Koji admitted with a shrug. "But so far it seems to be working.." He shuddered slightly at the new 'scenery' in the hall Luciano had lead them down, and held back the urge to puke once more. "I guess we'll see if I was right soon, judging by the... decor.."

"Yes I must get the designer." Pen spat as they went along. Trying to get the taste out of her mouth she reached in her pocket for wheat stalk. As she stationed the wheat in her mouth she reached her hand out to the new guy.
"I'm Pen by the way." Though was an odd time for introductions this might be the last time she would remember he was new.
