I'll be holding good thoughts that your father's oral surgery goes well and he heals quickly.

Thanks, Harvey.
Me & My Mom got him settled into a Hospital Room earlier yesterday morning and he is set-up to have it done the 5th Wends. I believe.
He is one of the older folk who hate to go to any Doctor or Dentist or such and would prefer just to leave things like they are, of course he could this time. sweatdrop

Your dad is a typical male. I confess, I'm the same way -- hate going to the doc or dentist. I hope things go very well for your father. It's hard not to worry when a friend or relative has surgery. Those are the times that faith helps a lot.

It's wonderful that the hospital provides a computer. I'm seeing you and your father and his medical providers surrounded in Light. Thanks for the updates. I'll check for status throughout the day.

Things went well, (Had all of his teeth removed and has stitches in his mouth with a bit of bleeding).
I am home to rest for tonight and I will be checking back with my parents tomorrow morning to allow my Mom to go home and rest for a bit.
Then she will come back and I will go to work.

Thanks for the update. I reckon you and your mother are very relieved that the surgery is over. It sounds like your father came through it as well as can be expected.
Your father's fortunate to have you and your mother taking such good care of him during this unpleasant time.
From what I know, your father has a big challenge ahead of him. False teeth aren't as comfortable as natural teeth. And that being the case, good nutrition is harder to get.
When will your father be coming home from the hospital?

3nodding Very Relieved, me and my Mother are happy it went as well as it did and with as little bleeding as happened.
Hopefully he will be coming home in 2 or 3 more days, he has to get his blood level back up with his blood thinner he takes as a prescription.
Yeah, as far as false teeth he seems optimnistice but he is still joking abit with us that he will just gum things for a while. ^8^

Hooray that your father will be home in a few more days. Have the doctors and hospital given you advice on liquid nutrition until your father can gum things?
My buddy with no teeth who refuses to wear his dentures seems to find lots of things he can gum. Let me know if you want me to ask him for details and lists.

3nodding From what we see right now, he seems to be taking semi-solid foods right now. (Eggs, Light - Somewhat Tender Meats and such)
So he is doing pretty well, Thanks for any info you can find out for me buddy. 3nodding

That's awesome that your father is already eating soft meats s soon after the surgery. I know Toothless Buddy likes peanut butter and banana sandwiches. He liked them before all his teeth were gone. Maybe it's a Southern thing. Elvis is reported to have liked those too.
I'll check to see what other things Toothless Buddy eats to stay healthy and let you know.
