Oh, man I just looked at our website and I found one of the funniest things. We don't acknowledge the drawer of our insignia (Whom I could swear it was Con Vallian) and the majority of our oldest and most die hard members back in the day aren't even verterens. Loki_the_Dead isn't even on the list. That is awesome. Its amazing how much changes. Not only did we loose the fridge in the dojo we also lost the dojo completely. Man. I don't think half the people on the list of inactive would even recognize this place anymore.

Dirk Graves was the leader for the original large roleplay group that 9 was in. Probably her motivation too. Rusvul still beleaves that bc is his home. By the way he may be trying to come back.

Heh. Dirk had degenerated into an incompetent noob the last I checked. I doubt that's changed really........... actually, I always found him annoying.

At times Dirk is a n00b. Though at others, mainly when he's fighting and actually going up against someone worthy, then he does try to RP. It's just like with some of the other older RP'ers, there's not many people worthy or places to go...so they just give up on the RP. I'm trying not to give up so easily, but it's hard there's so many n00bs and such around here. Or the older Gaian's that are actually good RP'ers are so full of theirselves....that they don't accept anyone that's not apart of their little 'gang' or some BS like that.

For note: I know not all are like that, and I'm not trying to say that they are. I'm just saying for the most part.

Hey, I meant no offensive. I just know of a lot of great RP'ers, but because they didn't join back in '03 or '04 they're not allowed to RP in most places. No offensive to anyone here, but I've heard complaints from others that have tried to come here, who are damn good RP'ers. They said they actively tried to join in the RP here, but they were flat out ignored. Though it's happened in the other guilds around here in the GGN, too.

I don't have any comtempt against those that have had success. I think it's great, I had success before in the other Guilds..but the leader wasn't active enough and thus the guilds have fallen about. I think it's great that the BC has been around for so long, I hope it sticks around for much longer.

Yawg still plans on RPing here. He's just been doing a lot of modding and school stuff recently. 3nodding

In my experiences, it seems most people that come and disappear saying no one played with them made the mistake of not reading important info. For example I'm sure everyone has been in the middle of a fight or at a place no one should find without knowing to look and had people pop up. It's damn annoying but it happens and many people try to finish what they're doing before addressing new comers. However on the flip side, I've found that many places and people that are supposed to represent good RP'ing are less than impressive. Maybe I'm just too picky but I've lost respect for many places due to an abundance of god modding among veterans and a lack of original plots. If you love manga and go to a guild specifically for that manga then fine, but I'm tired of seeing a plot in a guild or thread and then the next week realizing the manga I'm reading is what's being copied. First time I was really shocked by that was reading through some posts in Leviathan Stadium because my friend RP'ed there and saying, WTF? This is Bleach.

Anyway that's my weekly rant of contribution, no real point other than Gaia as a whole suffers from weak RP's due to lack of originality, or feelings of superiority blinding people to not GM'ing. Take a few hits, make a few twists of your own, and most importantly display some creativity to set you apart from the useless lemmings that fill the world and deserve to be wiped out by the apocalypse of your choice.
