The move hit Clefairy hard. It sent to pokemon flying right into the wall of the HQ, hurt bad. The Pokemon could barely stand. "Use Moonlight!" THe pokemon waved it's hands in the air, healing some hp, leaving the normal brusied but still standing.
All he had to do was keep waiting for Cute charm, then launch an attack.

"OK, Zangoose Swords Dance!" He said as Zangoose powered up.

Crud, reaper was on to him. Well, Zangoose's special defense was way low from two Close combats, so why not attack?
"Shock wave!" Clefairy fired another sure-fire hit Shock Wave.

Zangoose was hit hard by the shock wave but was still standing, barely.
"OK Zangoose, use Slash!" He said as Zangoose slashed at Clefairy with a critical hit.

"Quick! Lucky Chant!" Clefairy started quickly chanting, preventing Zangoose's critical hit. As Zangoose hit, it hurt Clefairy badly, also sending the pokemon a few yards away, but allowing the Pokemon to hold on with a deceant, but not that great, amount of health. A purple wall appeared in front of Clefairy and shattered. Reflect had done it's job and had spent it's five turns. Clefairy was far away now, meaning it could use Shock wave to intercept and melee attacks by Zangoose.
Kai smilied, unaware that Reaper still had a huge chance of victory.

Maddy jerked awake. She had fallen asleep on the ceiling. "Huhwha?" She mumbled, still half-asleep.

Clefairy was hit right in the gut, it was so quick it could not react. "Attack!" Kai said, but the Pokemon was injured to badly. It fell to the floor, fainted. "Good job Reaper." Kai said holding out a hand to shake after returning his pokemon.
