I'm got most of the GF as of storyline wise ((Up to Carbuncle)) so I'm currently up to the 2nd Disc on my PS3 (I downloaded the game for $9.99 on PSN smile ) and I'm to much of a low level right now as it is XD my Highest is Squall and Zell so thanks for the advine everyone and Aki you wouldn't know what spells to use for the Junction System
Also to help you Stardust, to get new weapons you have to find the weapons monthlys to get new weapons and you have to find the weapon shop to remodle your weapon
Madame I know about the underwater Lab and there is a GF their and its Bahamut, you also get a GF on Cactuar Island when you kill Jumbo Cactuar but when I get Garden mobile I'm going to get Odin A.S.A.P

I know I'm a pretty high level.. lol but I like the challenge. Though I STILL went through this game without any trouble. Make sure you always have 100 of whichever magic you junction, and DO NOT cast it unless absolutely necessary.
Quake, Ultima, Regen, Triple, Flare, Meteor, and meltdown are the best for junctioning. If you put Triple on your speed stat, you will be suuuuper fast. My Selphie has ridiculous speed.
This is of course tailored to how I like to play, (I use a lot of physical attacks and rarely use magic) so you may choose to strengthen different stats than I did. But this at least gives you an idea. I kicked MAJOR a** with this party. lol
Oh, I also had all my final weapons and all the GFs, and almost all of them learned all their abilities. sweatdrop

The last disc of my FFVIII won't read on my PS2 crying Although.... I still feel good that I TOTALLY kicked Seifer's a** for what he did to Odin..... stressed
And I junctioned Squall to have UBER attack streangth, and with the "Darkside" attack, he just OWNS. Regen + "X" with Darkside = Pwnage without worry. X = character of choice. 3nodding

I never used the abilities like Darkside, Level Down, Mad Rush, etc etc. I sailed through the game using GFs and limit breaks. Nothing beats a well timed Renzokuken/Lion Heart combo :3

I think I've only ever used The End once. lol It's so damn hard to get!! But I used Full-Cure and Wall aaaalll the time. I used to sit in an easy battle (like with a bite bug or something) and cycle through her slots until I found all of her rare ones, then I'd use them over and over until they were easy to find. The more you use them, the more frequently they show up. The on exception is The End however, and that sucks sad

I don't know if we've ever talked about this before but,
what is everyone's favorite scene in FF8?
When I was younger (and well, now) I always thought that part near the end of disc 1 where Squall jumps down into a car and drives it towards the sorceress was awesome and Squall looked awesome. xD I also like the stuff that plays during the end credits.

Hmm.... Favorite scene?.... Well, since I only got TO the third disc, I may be missing something.... But, my favorite scene so far would be the opening one with Squall Vs. Seifer. 3nodding That was awesome.

It's hard to pick; there were a lot of good scenes in that game. :/ I was always fond of Dollet scenes, and the Deling scenes during the parade.

Favorite Scene? I have to say my favorite scene in FF8 so far is Squall and Rinoa in outer space when they first find Ragnarok
@ Aki I Don't care if your a high level but thanks for the spells you use for Junctioning as I have Quake on my Strength and I'm hitting for a good one thousand points of damage but I only have Squalls third Gunblade (Cutting Trigger) and I hardley use Selphie, my most common party is Squall, Zell, and Rinoa =/

I just gave you an example of my stats so you could see which spells are good to junction. What characters they are on are totally up to you.

Sorry if it sounded like I was being jerk there but I get what your saying, anyways I should be back up to posting speed soon just waiting on Sir to post in your class =/
anyways I use Death for HP and that got it pretty high for the time and also what is the best way for getting Lionheart, i know the material you need for Lionheart but I don't know that best way of getting it?

Aki, you can now take off the HP+ because you are level 98 and you'll naturally have 9999 HP, or close to it. I replaced mine with Speed+80 or 60. then you get to go almost instantly. Also, try Lifega instead of Regen to boost your HP. I know regen is one of the best though.
My favorite scenes(because I cant pick just one) were the attack on Balamb Garden, then when all the SeeDs got together and made that song for Squall and Rinoa while they sat on the satellite on FH. I always enjoyed the Deling and Dollet scenes as well, Aki.
lol, I love all the spellcheck "errors" for all the titles in FF8.

Sometimes.... I really ******** hate Gaia.
There was this total idiot in the cosplay forum last week who was claiming to be an "expert" cosplayer, even though her pictures were novice, at best. Anyway, a bunch of us called her on it, and someone mentioned that she should learn how to put on make up before being photographed. She said it wasn't important, and I disagreed (then said it was obvious she wasn't an expert if she didn't even know that basic makeup is vital to any good photograph) and she started scapegoating me basically. She picked a fight and got all spazzy.
So I just let it go because you can't argue with morons, but she told her friends that I was picking on her and stalking her and "being mean", and now they keep PMing me. UGH. Get a ******** life already.

lol, sounds like you have a full case of annoying b***h on your hands. Its easy to get rid of her, though. Show her your pics and then she cant say s**t. You have cosplayed Selphie, VERY well, you've played Tifa too, also very well. If you show her that the hair, makeup and how you carry yourself is JUST as important as the costume itself, she has no choice but to see that maybe her self proclaimed title of Cosplay expert, is not so properly given...yet.
If that doesnt work, block her dumbass and her dumbass friends too! 4laugh
