Nay's ear switched as the sounds from above came down through the ceiling. She shook her head slowly slightly amazed by the courage and stubbornness of those who had willing gone up stairs...or maybe those who didn't want to be called wimps for not going. With a sigh she turned her attention back to the situation down here. I wonder who the temp leader will choice to go patrol down here with him.

Silvina blinked at Luciano's orders, and while she had watched the main force head upstairs had also been thinking of ways to help Waffle. She was entirely unfamiliar the elf's situation, and thought her companion/ boyfriend Sabe would be the better choice to help her.

But she moved over to the couple and crouched down by Waffle as she was curled up into Sabe's side.

"How is she?" She directed this question at Sabe, who seemed the more coherent of the two. "Short of slapping her or having her eat something vile I really have no fool-proof ideas to get her to quickly recover." She quietly murmured this while slipping off the witch's hat she had somehow clung onto, shaking her hair free and then tying it up into a servicable bun at the nape of her neck.

"If only people still used things like smelling salts." She sighed this while rolling up her dress and checking the pockets of the jeans underneath, already knowing that besides her knives she really had nothing of use.

Luciano continued to shoot, then his guns felt a bit lighter. He knew he was running out of ammo. So he suddenly jumped up and spin-kicked one of the monsters in the face, nearby from where they were fighting, he could see a Fire Axe. He broke the glass and he started using the Axe on the monsters that pursued him and his team.

The static from his cell was slightly distracting as it has now reached an overpowering volume. Koji reached down to his belt and his heart dropped into his stomach as his fingers met with the leather straps and no metal hilts. He uncoiled his whip and prepared to strike. Usually there was a bit more distance and open space for him to use this, but he didn't have much else to work with.
"Here goes nothing!" He shouted and, with a flourish, sent the metal cord ripping through the flesh of the enemies around him. With all his strength, he dragged the whip around and managed to slice off a head of one while catching the arm of another. It seemed to be effective, but with his team mates around, he would have to be careful where he swung.

After the zombies stopped coming, skotti lowered his magnums and reloaded. Before skotti could finish reloading, the ceiling, wall, and floor developed large spikes, forming a wall between Skotti and the rest of his group.
"That aint good!" he said as the lights flickered on and off. A little farther down the hall stood a large Man with something in his hands. He reached down and pulled on a string igniting what seemed to be two chainsaws chained together.
"s**t..."

The runes were behaving oddly now, they were hovering over his skin by a few centimeters. He didnt know what was causing that, maybe his and twi's energy were like water and oil. They had left scars all over his upper torso that were connected together, they resembled cracks in porcelein.

Ikuinen dragged himself to Waffle and Sabe. Slamming his scythe into a wall to lodge it there, he bent down beside waffle.

"Your name is Sabe is it not? Waffle is recovering, her body is cleansing the toxins. But..this will help filter her system swiftly"

Touching waffle's forhead, a piece of rune hovered off his fingers, unraveled and formed into a new rune. It looked like a yin yang with the white fish engulfing the black, but it had a serpent consuming its own tail in the center.

"when the black fish engulfs the white fish, press on the serpent. Her body will recover better, though not quicker, thanks to this."
