"That's a wonderful attitude." She seated herself on the coffee table, opposite Reeve, and swiftly removed the bandages from around his head. She frowned at the burns around his eyes and popped off the lid from her tin. It was a hyuuga recipe, hundreds of years old, her mother had made this particular batch. It held minor healing qualities but more importantly kept out infection and relieved pain.
Smearing some across her fingers, she began to run it as gently as possible across the burns.

"Family recipe." Nami said, relieved that he wasn't angry. " My mom made this batch, she's a pro. I can make it if I have to though...it'll keep out infection...should make it hurt a little less too. It's not some miracle healing salve but it'll help." She continued to dab at his face carefully.

"I'm honored...and don't worry. You have plenty to be stressed and angry about...just, go back in there, curl up on the cot and try to get some rest." She pulled her hand away, wiping it on the edge of a bandage. "She'll know you're there, even if she can't speak to you."
Pulling out the roll of bandages, she carefully undid some and doubled them up. She proceeded to wrap them around his head, effectively covering the burns and his eyes from the light. Satisfied, she pinned it in place and disentangled his hair from the wraps. "There. Done. That wasn't so bad was it?"

Reeve smiles. "You're quite the doctor, but you don't have to be so explanatory. I know Nyl, too. But I'm not resting while that traitorous cat is around. I can't afford another mistake." His face grows more serious at the end of his words.

Seph nearly collapsed forward, shaking the sleepiness from his eyelids. He hopped off the roof sloppily and snapped his fingers. A soft pop echoed through Nyl's room. A small precaution, in case Neko made himself invisible--which he had. He slowly made his way into the main room and down the hall towards the medbay.
He opened the door to Nyl's room and used Byakougan. A state of semi-meditation had allowed him to regain some of the chakra used last night, and he had forgotten about the necklace that now glowed with stored chakra. True, it was chakra enveloped in Ho, but it was a small matter pulling pure chakra from that.
~How are your eyes, Reeve?~ He asked as examined Nyl's current state. Nothing foreign--poison or otherwise--had entered her body. He knew Neko would make an attempt at seeing Nyl again, but he wasn't positive of his motives. One point to Neko for not attempting murder.

~I don't know. Even if I did, it would be unwise to tell you. Conflict is something we should avoid right now.~
Seph popped his knuckles and held his hands over Nyl, drawing the chakra from the necklace. The red glow of the necklace slowly faded out, fueling his chakra. He pushed ijutsu from his fingertips slowly, and into Nyl. The bones he had deemed dangerous last night--broken ribs, skull, etc.--had been put into place and healed to point of fracture. Time enough had passed to fix that, and a bit more probably.
He began whistling the tune she often played.

" I had a feeling you were up his sleeve," Reeve says noncomitally. "Tell you right now, 'he was trying to do the right thing'. And make us all pawns."
He walks into the medbay, sticking his head through the door first, out of habit.
