Reeve raises a hand, almost wanting to put it over hers, something, anything to let her know she's not alone here.He resists, knowing the futility of it, as it's merely himself, Reeve.

Nami rolled over again, staring at the wall. She'd been awake for an hour already, trying to go back to sleep but it was useless. She threw off her blankets and padded around the sleeping Tut, not bothering to change out of the pajama pants and t-shirt or to fix her hair. She went straight for the medbay.
She paused at the door of Nyl's room, catching sight of Neko and Reeve. Reeve seemed totally unaware of the kage's presence however. Odd. She glanced at Neko.
~ We need to talk...I'm going to talk to Reeve a bit first, but I really need to talk to you okay? Even if you don't want to hear it, can you maybe leave for a bit ~
"Reeve..." She hissed at the cold of the floor against the soles of her feet.

"Oh, hello, Nami." Reeve was well aware of her electrical and chakra field, as it had not been supressed. "Is everything alright?"

She knelt next to Reeve's chair. "Come on..." She grabbed his arm and tugged him gently.

"Why are you being so stubborn. It's not like you're really leaving her. I just want to talk to you for a few minutes, out in the main room. I'll bring you back and set up a cot if you want okay?" She was becoming frustrated. She cast an exasperated look in Neko's direction.
~Aren't you supposed to be a ninja? Can't you just sneak out of here or something? Or are you afraid his being blind will heighten his senses?~

Reeve grumbles. "Alright, -fine-. Whatever." He stands up and walks out to the main room himself.

With Reeve gone, she didn't have to resort to mindspeak.
"Yeah well...can you please go to your office and wait for me there?" And then she disappeared out of the door, already after Reeve.
"Thanks for waiting." She sighed, sitting him down on a couch. She knew he was perfectly capable himself but did it anyways. Sinking down next to him, she ran her fingers through her hair. "Why haven't you had your eyes fixed yet?"

"Cos I want Nyl to fix them," he says obstinately. "If she can do it, I know it's her." There were other reasons, but....
