Middy I got my dress just after Christmas...I got a $1000 dress for $380. I was really happy getting my dress way before, because everyone who came over to my house I could show them before hand. I also made most of my appointments...hair and all that stuff in advance too.

If you have a friend that can help with the makeup and hair do it it will save money and sometimes time.

The lady who I used to live next door to worked for Lancome on the Sears cosmetics department and she did my makeup for free. :3 I still had to make an appointment though. xD;;

I got my hair done at sears...I spent 2 and a half hours in a chair...but it was totally worth it biggrin

Another friend of the family did my hair. She worked in a hair salon, and she booked me first thing in the morning. x3 It only took about 45 minutes for my hair. I wants a bun, with curls pinned onto it with some curls hanging down. And I had a tiara to wear too. x3 (We didn't do prom king/queen at my school)

I got my hair done at my neighbors house and got a little help with make-up but did most of it my self my parents werent even able to see me before either of my porms since they were on a trip.

my mom was home, and took the day off of work to help me...actually I told her boss she wasn't coming in and that was that...good thing he and my mom are good friends sweatdrop
