The Time Wizard ... That sounds like she should win just because she is a one-armed woman with a huge rack. That and something along the lines of "She is very brave for fighting a dragon and so she wins. The end."
I still do not know what this is about. To this day.

Michael Noire I knew I would not be allowed to win the tournament when a move I used 10 times with my roommate - and they on me, worked in reality, but was ruled "impossible" by both my opponent and the judges. At that point, It was already a Titanic. All the other people's insults and such aside, I'd like to speak for a moment about that move in question. My character had her arm over yours' shoulder, gripping the hair on the back of his head. Your character, then, would reach behind him with the arm on the same side as the one mine used to grab him, and proceeded to twist it off by gripping it in a fashion that I found implausible. This being because your character placed his thumb between her pinkie and ring fingers, while covering her palm with his. On a balled fist. Behind his head. I'm just very certain a human arm/hand cannot bend that way, and if it could that it would not be able to take control of a limb with super strength. But I digress. I'm sure you really don't want to go through all this BS in the OoC. If you REALLY want to complain or discuss stuff in the fight, lets do it on MSN. That way, the other people don't have to be privy to all this. mkitsurubami@hotmail.com

No one is particularly fond of me around here.
I still only have 1 loss (not counting team losses and the unjudged fight with Roen) since I've started RPing in tournaments. Either I'm better than I think I am, my opponents all suck, or my opponents kicked all of the judge's dogs.

I'm going to request to judge your fight, Noire. And I'm going to make sure to write a nice, long entry on each of the fighters, you and Sokoya. And I'm going to be the fairest, nicest, most balanced and good judge I can be. And I am going to compliment you, and her, and make sure you know exactly what you did right and wrong. And if you end up losing, Noire, I will make sure it is so obvious why, and so politely and clearly written, that you cannot possibly hide behind your shoddy defense of being the victim of bias. You deserve only the best judging, Noire, because you deserve to have it publicly and proudly known exactly how you did, and precisely every fault and talent you have. In detail. Because the only way to defeat your claim is to give your your fighting chance, that fairness you pine after so openly and shamefully. I will give that to you. I leave it to the rest of this thread to assume as to how that will turn out.

The Darth Vizzle But, you know, ignore those wins where my character KO'd their opponent. Those are rigged too, because the judges paid my opponents to lose. It's great I don't need to keep you paying me off to KO Rachel a secret anymore. I got mad bank for throwing that.

If someone grabbed my hair ( my hair isn't faggy long ) over my left shoulder and I wanted to grab their hand, I'd just bend my arm at the elbow and grab their hand. I'm pretty sure if I can scratch the back of my head without effort I can reach a hand there just as easily.
That or I'd just punch them in the face repeatedly while they were standing in front of me defenseless, stroking my hair.

Elliterate Noire. You'd be pretty hard pressed to say that Tenkai hates anyone. He's one of the nicest people in the whole damn world.
Vin is very unbiased and straight down the line in all respects.
Rhos, might make plenty of quips OOC'ly, but he is a fair guy and a good Roleplayer.
Ecks is, in my limited experience with him, a very nice and accomodating person who doesn't pander to drama.
And Vansin can be bribed.
So I think your suggestion to Sokoya that if she wins it will just be because people hate you more, is a little off the mark. You haven't been paying attention. The entirety of my existence in this guild has been a series of dodging mockery. Vansin was clearly going to rule against me before the tournament started because I stated my distrust of the profile filtering in Ertai's guild. Quote: People do not treat you with respect because they do not believe you deserve it KB, though not a real judge, has been waiting for my failure since "impulse break" Fierarch has made their opinion known here and in advance, Vizzle - obviously... Kenji's still pissed i broke his leg in '04... Well anyway, that's all beside the point. Here's my point. most of you are watching what you say or complain about because you are afraid you will be docked points for complaining. Knowing what the ruling is going to be before I even start posting, I don't see any reason not to be honest. do you people not realize the equation? By posting your mutual disgust with me and my characters, you only prove my point, and assure Sokoya's victory will in fact be hollow.

Old Man KB because he's usually got some pretty solid bases even if they don't translate well. Which, in the case that this argument holds water, translates directly to: "He knows martial arts but is a poor roleplayer." Seeing as how credible something you do in a post sounds is directly proportional to the ratio of "what the ********" divided by "that was described well". Ridiculous amounts of wtf (say, 30) can seem perfectly reasonable with a high writing skill (say, 15), leaving the reduced fraction at a solid 2. Lesser wtf (say, 20) with poor writing skill (say, 5) leaves us with a larger reduced fraction: 4. Having 3x the writing skill for a move 2/3 as feasible sounds twice as good.

Eh? My complaints and subsequent mockery of Impulse Break are well recorded. I got over it within ten minutes of our argument and have since used it as a hilarious joke.
That's one of those things I'm talking about where it has a good base, but it doesn't translate well to RP. If the Judges let you get away with having that Impulse Break move... that's their own stupidity. It's a scientific process which is documented, so I can see why some people who want meta H2H powers would use it.
