Kenjirou was dozing off a bit due to the warm sunlight, and was not prepared for Cerbi to push him headfirst into the lake. Kenjirou knew immediately that falling into water would not kill him, so out of reflex, he withdrew his sword from his side and tossed up onto the rock where he had been sitting. To ensure his blade would not get wet.

He was able to save his sword, but not himself. He had tumbled off of the rock, and landed back first into the water. With a splash, the black and gray blur that was his form sank into the water. A geyser of white consuming him as it rose into the air, then back down into the lake.

There was silence a moment, till Kenjirou surfaced from the water, panting. He quickly climbed onto the rock, the first thing he did was to inspect his weapon to see if there had been any damage from keeping it dry.

He let out a long sigh of relief, seeing his sword had undergone no damage. He looked up to Cerbi, moving sleek black mess out of his right eye, to say sternly

"Very funny."

Kenjirou slowly stood, taking a deep intake of breath to calm himself. He took off his Haori, laying it out on the rock next to him, then laying down on the rock himself. Sword in hand. He figured he'd need time to dry, especially his hair. That coming to mind, he sat up, laying his sword across his lap, and running his fingers through his hair. Taking out any knots, and making sure it dried straight.

"I'm sure it was priceless."

He said with a small smile. With anyone else, he probably would have forcibly pushed them back into the lake by now.

Cerbi was laughing so much she didnt notice Kyo sneak up to her. She squeaked as she fell down and hit the lake with a huge splash. When she resurfaced, she looked up at Kyo with a glare. But soon she burst out laughing.

"Thank's Kyo! You're a real pal!" she said between laughs. She continued to laugh as she tread water. She'd make sure to get Kyo back for that later.

Kenjirou looked up at Kyo, then to Cerbi. Their constant blushing had not gone unnoticed by the 42 year old samurai. While he chose not to be with anyone at the moment, one does not age to 42 without having experienced love before. Admittedly, part of the reason Kenjirou chose to be single, was due to the often chaotic and negative nature of his past lovers, he still understood love in its entirety. He only hoped it would not distract Cerbi from her duty, nor Kyo from his.

For now, Kenjirou decided to simply let them have some fun together. Besides, he needed time to dry off. He sat cross legged on the rock, getting the knots out of his hair, and choosing not to interfere with young love.

He'd simply talk to them alone later.

For now, he still was on duty. After making sure his hair was taken care of, he simply sat on the rock. On guard for any possible attacks or threats.

Kenjirou slowly shook his head from left to right.

"No thank you, I still have a duty to perform."

He was intent on staying on the rock, drying off, and keeping guard. He knew if she continued to insist, he'd have to, but that was if she insisted, of course.

Cerbi was touroughly surprised and let out a loud sream. She splashed around in the water and tried to resist, but she ultimately failed and ended up under the water.

Once she was under, she opened her eyes to see a slightly blurry Kyo. She grinned and saw an oppaturnity to scare Kenjirou. She resurfaced and let out a loud gasp. "Kenjirou! Help!" she yelled before she made herself sink in the water.

Cerbi couldnt help but start to laugh. But in doing so, she let out what air was left in her lungs. She started to cough and some water entered her lungs. She struggled out of Kenjirou's grasp and swam to the surface by herself.

Once she broke the surface, she coughed a little. Her head got a little woozy, and this time for real she started to sink. But she shook it off and managed to atleast get closer to shore. Once she got there, she lay down and closed her eyes.
