Tokeru stood up, and tested his leg. It held his weight, and didnt hurt.
"Alright? So why did you ask this? A fortune telling you did? Some premonition?"

Joey sighed. "That's just it sir....it's not one fortune telling...It's over 15 in the past hour and a half" he replied. "I keep hoping it's a coincidence...but a perfect score of fifteen out of fifteen makes me wonder if something bad is going to happen soon" he explained.

Tokeru laughed.
"And you decided to speak to me about it? What were you asking it? Is someone going to die in New York soon? Of course they are, hundreds of people die every day here, a mojority of that number hunted down by my own men. What makes this fortune telling any worse than normal?"

Joey sighed. "I ask it nothing....the method I used is a type of divination, used to predict general things such as prosperity. I use it simply for general information" he explained. "But the thing is, the same result appearing fifteen times in a row is a huge happening. These readings, coupled with the fact that the elders called a meeting of council, suggests a very serious threat to the city as a whole, not a few people in it. ANd I was there for a bit of it, I heard how the Vampires spoke so freely....it just doesn't sit right" he finished.

"So why speak to me about this? We all know the vampires are up to no good, but we apparently have a temporary cease fire. So.... Why then?"

"I mean no offense to ANY of the elders...but the Vampires have not always been the most trustworthy of peoples" he said softly, not wanting to seem disrespectful.
"And as for why I approached you with this...is that I thought you should know that something extreme may be coming....something more than anyone would expect...even in the world of the unexpected" he answered.

Black Cat Godess "He' sbeen trying to recruit members for his group as well as looking out for...certain people. I wish he would let me help, but..hold on a moment." Neko said, seeing Edith punch someone. "If you all are going to fight, verbally or otherwise, get the ******** out of my bar!" she shouted, already on edge from the toher vampire elders and in no mood to deal with her rules being broken here. She noticed that Tokeru was somehow injured, but before she could say anything, he was out the door. "What the hell is up with that boy?" "JHe doesn't want to worry you with his work." Alexz said with a nod.
Her attention was turned to Edith as Neko scolded her. She had never heard Neko get that angry before. Rolling her eyes at the couple she was relieved to see them go.
"What's that kid even doing here? He obviously doesn't deserve to even be called a leader." she said, her eyes narrowing on him as he left.
Alexz heard them speaking outside in her mind and couldn't help but smirk. Silly child, how did he expect to tell the future by a deck of cards? Neither of them could even possibly fathom what was happening about them for they were too immatureto be concerned with adult matters. The deck of cards flew out of Joey's hands and the cards formed a tornado, swirling about them until they shredded into microscopic pieces and sprinkled upon them.

"Aye! what the 'ell?!" he exclaimed as the cards melted into shreds around them. He looked back towards the bar, the place that currently held some of New York's most powerful beings and smirked as he reached into his pocket and pulled out another deck, winking to whomever may have been watching him and Tokeru through the window.

"After everyone was bickering and fighting, you expect me to be calm and as happy as a field of roses?" Neko asked, glaring at nothing in particular. "This is neutral ground and there will be no fighting here. PERIOD." She sighed, stressed and just plain tired. "I'm sorry, Alexz. I'm probably not very good company right now. What with Asmodai being gone, this meeting, and Mauser running loose, my nerves are frazzled."

Alexz patted Neko's arm, "You need rest. You should take a cat nap, stop worrying for a moment. Times are too stressful."
The hunger she had felt only a moment ago was beginning to get stronger and it caused her a bit of discomfort. She took a sip from her glass, hoping that it would satisfy something.

"Yeah, a nap sounds good right now. But I get the feeling that I'm not the only one going through some difficulty at the moment. Are you sure that everything is all right with you, Alexz? You're my friend, and I'd do anything I could to help you. I just want you to know that." Neko said, laying a friendly hand on Alexz's shoulder.

She was still so angry at Tokeru. Even as she saw him limp out of the bar, covered in blood she couldnt help but smile sadistically. Oh how hungry she was. As Krii walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her, she stiffened slightly before relaxing when she saw that it was him. Shrugging, she sighed, rubbing her temples, "i dont care babe. To be honest, I have a headache and would prefer to just go back to Haven." Breaking away from him, she walked over to the car, sliding into the drivers seat and and starting the ignition. Resting her forehead on the steeting wheel, she fought down the anger that was continuing to grow in her chest. It was strange to find someone who could make her as mad as Tokeru could make her just by being in the same room.

Alexz smiled warmly and placed her hand on top of Neko's. She trusted Neko but she didn't feel that it was the right moment to tell her.
"I'm fine, really. I've just been a little hungry, all this stress is getting to me, I think I could use a nap, too." she said with a small smile.
This hunger had crept up on her often recently. It was unusual for her to be this hungry. She blamed it on stress, even though deep inside she knew this was no the case.

Krii'Ouse frowned lightly. Tokeru had pissed his mate off royally, so much so that she had a headache. Mess with Krii, okay. Mess with his mate, not okay. The ninja Hunter walked over to Kerrigan's car, leaned in on the driver side window, and kissed her cheek.
'Alright, babe. We'll just go home. I'll get Cookie to make something for us. I'll be there soon. I brought the Krii'Vette with me. I'll see you at home, darling.' he said, kissing her, again.
Walking back inside, he walked up to Neko. Sitting down for a moment, he spoke quietly to her. 'I don't trust the other vampire elders. Something's up, I could smell it all throughout the meeting. We'd better keep a close eye on the Vampire Coven from here on out.' he said, not caring that the woman next to him was the fourth elder. She seemed to not trust her fellow Vampire Elders, too.
Turning to Gabby, he smiled. 'Have a good evening.' Standing, he lit a smoke, and blew it upwards. 'I'll see you around, Neko.' He turned, and walked to the Krii'Vette, started it up, and pumped up the stereo, blaring My Chemical Romance's Welcome to the Black Parade. He stepped on the accelerator, and sped off towards Haven.

As Tokeru was talking to Joey, he was overcome by slight numbness as his senses seemed to heighten but for his sense of awareness, reality, and touch.
'TOKERU,' the panicked voice of Eden shot through his mind, 'PLEASE FIND ME QUICKLY! I'M GONNA KILL A GUY IF YOU DON'T! HE'S ONLY HUMAN, I CAN'T WILL MY BODY AT ALL! JUST HURRY, PLEASE!'
Seeing as she was panicked, she had forgotten to tell Tokeru just exactly where she was.
