cln4evr *snaps fingers* dag nabbit, missed the scuffle with OnSlushie (haha new nickname, what do you think?) *shrugs shoulders* sorry I was kinda held up at gun-point, forgive me? I'm here now *beams innocently* Let the 'school work' begin! *blows dust off of grammar textbook and blanches at the sight of it* And I missed Pirates' Day! *slaps head* being out of school has thrown my schedule to hell. Reaver, have you any clue where Plymouth Indiana is? Cause since you're of Michigan, there's a slight case you might, it's relatively close to the northern indy, southern mich border. Anyways, that's my little spot of the globe for the time being. It's starting to get a bit too nippy for me though. *Pulls out winter coat and practices 'burrowing'* hahah long ooc post, and even longer rp post *evil villian laugh and looks around for any witnesses with a guilt look on her face* Plymouth, no. Ft. Wayne, yes. I never really went into Indiana, honestly. I was more on the eastern/middle section of Michigan. Midland and Flint were where I made my bases of operation. That was until I moved to Pittsburgh. But yea, it's getting a tad cold. Specially here in the Burgh since we're all up in the mountainous regions. I tell you, it's odd going from flatlands, to a valley, to a mountain. Let me guess though....college up there judging by your statement. I know I have a cousin going to college in Indiana, but she's like way towards the middle. I had a friend that lived in Bicknel as well, which was more towards the Illinois border, but to his graces, he wound up back in Flint. But yea, I never really dealt with Indiana. More the Ohio area cause I've an uncle that lives down there. Everyone else in my family either is from Michigan (Mom's side) or California (Dad's side).

*pounces Revan* Oh! I've missed you all so much!
Reaver: I used to have a couple of cousins in Ft Wayne, but one's relocated to New Paris and the other to S Caroline. And no, it's not because of college, although many have speculated that. It's my mini vacation away from my immediate family. I get one every couple of years, a few weeks crashing at an aunt's or cousin's place and doing odds and ends. I'm working as a cook/disher/waitress (depends on the day) at my aunt's restuarant she bought back in April. It keeps me busy, puts $ in my pocket, and I get free meals, so I'm not one to complain.

yo Reaver, you seen the new stuff from the Timespiral set? (magic stuffs btw)
So crazy, it'slike another Urza's block in terms of power, they've brought back a bunch of old mechanics like storm, buyback, flashback, morph, flanking, shadow, bunches of crazy stuff man.
And the two new mechanics: suspend and split second, wow, just wow.
go check it out if you haven't, hell, everyone go see this:

Yea, I've been following the news of Time Spiral since I've heard about it, and let me say, I am VERY impressed. I love that they're bringing back the old school mechanics I remember from my early playing days like Buyback, Threshold, Flash (new keyword, old card ability).
That and the fact there's an actual card for Mishra. And Teferi. And JAYA BALLARD! My God, I thought the Ravnica block was the end all/beat all of M:tG, but I honestly think Time Spiral is the best I've ever seen. And I started to seriously collect during Invasion/Planeshift/Apocalypse.
That's why I love the game of Magic. With each set, they've always managed to wow me completely. Well, not wow me. I quit collecting after Odyssey, skipping from Torment to Scourge. It wasn't until a couple of years ago I bout a small stack of Onslaught and Scourge that I got the urge to play again. Of course that was when the Mirrodin block was on the downswing and Kamigawa was on the upswing. Love that Kamigawa block and it's cycle of Dragon Spirits. I think the first rare I pulled from a Kamigawa pack was Kokusho, followed by Keiga, then Kodama of the South Tree.
That's the way I buy packs: In sets of three. That way, you are guaranteed at least one good, beefy, powerful rare amongst all the other goodness. At least, that is the way it worked for me. Heh. The last time I bought packs was about a month ago, again in a set of three. And I pulled a card I didn't get out of the box of Dissension I bought: Grand Arbiter Augstin IV.

Is this next storyline going to be similar to the original Inferno storyline? I just find that funny I just bought and read that TPB, my wavelength is getting connected with this rpg...

I think as part of the down time we should actually have the Spring semester of classes start. I believe it's been established that the time is around late February/early March now.
