Sorry I got paid this week and bought me four PS one Classics on PSN for $9.99 and one was $5.99 so Aki my knowlege in FF8 is going to be comming back since thats one of the PS1 Classic games I got and btw does anyone know of good level up place in the game

In FF8? I think you can only level up with the monsters as you go along in the story. Then when you can fly the Garden or get Ragnarok you can go to other places. Places Closest to Heaven and Hell have the tough monsters, and then go to Cactuar Island to level up your GFs. Also there's that lab way in the lower corner with tough monsters and I think you get a GF there.

Don't level up! You have no reason to do so, and it only makes the enemies stronger. Use the Junction system to boost your stats and get everyone's ultimate weapon and the game will be a breeeeeeze.

I agree to a point..... Just make sure all of your characters are at least over level 30 razz THEN it doesn't matter. 3nodding

Well you should get your characters to at least level 30 through gameplay anyway, without even trying. What I mean is you shouldn't spend extra time getting your characters to a high level because it doesn't make you any stronger, in retrospect. All the monsters, bosses, etc level up as you level so you're only making the game harder if you power level.

Yeah, I'm playing FF8 too. And I am confused about how you go about getting new weapons. xD I know you get stuff when you fight monsters, but where do you take it to make the new weapons? I just now got past the SeeD party, and am about to go to Timber.
Oh, and I got a little suprise, last time I played, I got past Timber before having to start over on my PS3. And this time when I fought that giant monster thing on top of the tower, I drew 'Siren' and found that it was a new GF! ^^
I sure this is old news to everyone else, but it's just something I found this time around.
And in other news, midterms and ACT coming up...but I don't think I'll miss anything important here. xD
And yesterday I went and wrapped gifts at the mall with my stepmom's soroity for Relay for Life and then went to Hot Topic. Lots of lovely things on sale. ^^
