Kimmiora *puts on polishing gloves and gives Astonisha and Pyrathas a good rub down and fed them extra helpings of minerals* They are the proud parents of my newest grandbaby... Yippee blaugh heart

We've got our first geode adult! Congrats, Vixibelle! biggrin Cave description: "Geode dragons are closely related to Stone dragons. They are covered in a hard stone-like material, as well as beautiful crystal. Their wings are entirely useless for flight, but they help attract mates. The dragons with the most brilliant and colorful crystals are more likely to mate."

I found a frill baby that really needs help. It only has 21 hours left to live. I have no idea who it belongs to... I have looked all over the Incubator and only saw it posted in one of Beady's Infirmary posts.
Its tinyurl code is brbjuz. I hope it isn't one of the abandoned babies that were given up in hopes of a Valentine day dragon.....

I thought that geode eggs were only from breeding a stone with a stone... That's interesting... EDIT: I tried breeding my stone with one of my earth dragons but I only got a normal one, at least I got an egg; usually my dragons hate each other or produce nothing. But it seems like all my dragons like Takashi. XD Oh well... at least I'll have yet another stone to experiment with for an alt: And maybe if I do get an alt stone I'll see about breeding it with my black dragon to try for an alt black. XD

I. HATE. MY. JOB. They've got me working mid shift now (which is 3-11 on most days). I'm so freaking tired. I didn't even notice that we had new eggs. I haven't been able to pay attention to my dragons in a long time. T-T Sorry guys. How have you been lately? Also, what the heck. I tried breeding just for kicks. I'm never this lucky on the first try. Also, FFFFFFF, I went a little trigger-happy. I'll try to be on sometime later tonight or tomorrow morning to help walk to kids.

XD At least you were lucky with the alt. ^_^ And yet another alt that isn't from a pure stone couple... weird. It must be that only the mother has to be a stone. Either that or it must be at least one stone and another earth-themed dragon.

OMG! eek For giggles and grins, I checked with the geode dragons in the Dragon Cave Guild's Sanctuary. Here's what I found when I checked the parentage on the 15 geodes there... It was nearly divided into thirds for the parentage. One group had both parents which were stone dragons. One group was of hybrid origin ... one parent was a stone dragon and the other parent was a pebble/earth/green dragon. And the last group had both parents which were pebble/earth/green dragons!?! It now makes sense to me why I've been seeing so many green eggs in the Abandoned pile lately. Another statistical tidbit ... all of the geode 2nd-stage hatchlings and adults currently in the Sanctuary are females. Vixibelle's adult, here in the Incubator, is the only male I've seen so far.
