Saphen Crap...my opponent finally posted 4 hours before the lock down...Now I need to make magic happen in under an hour...Lametastic... sad The closing is on CST. You have, essentially, two hours.

Michael Noire Unsung Warrior Quit whining about it, Noire. Yeesh. who said i was whining? It's a statement of fact. This is a tournament of appeasement. Not a tournament of skill, or ability. It's a question of whether or not the judges like your character and the resultant posts with those characters in mind. We aren't supposed to win the matches, we are supposed to win over the judges. I could see the favoritism begin when my first question to the judges (how do I explain this without sounding like I'm godmoding?) being laughed off and ridiculed, while my adversaries judge requests received 100% positive affirmations. It's not even calculus, it's arithmetic. If the number of times a judge sides with you = 0 and the number of times they side with your opponent > 2, then you have a 0/2+ chance of winning. Even if this were true, I do hope you realize that complaining about the system isn't going to help you win.

Kenji III Lol @ KB's post in the absences thread I was at work and didn't think I was going to get home till way later than this. I was hoping that would stop my thread from being locked. Anyways... Noire, you could be fighting Argonnan or whatever his name is and I'd rule against you. I like Kenji's Honesty. It's the only lesson he learned from Kenjitsu, but its a good one. i'm still not sure how my best disciple ended up a serial killer rapist, but then again =

The Darth Vizzle Saphen Crap...my opponent finally posted 4 hours before the lock down...Now I need to make magic happen in under an hour...Lametastic... sad The closing is on CST. You have, essentially, two hours. Well that is a bit better...Is there a penalty for over 24 hour limits this year? Or rather over 72 hour absences? I didn't see any mention of it in the rules and regs. thread.

I remember Black Company. Used to play with a few people from there from time to time...
...anyways, my opponent said he'd be back before the threads close. I doubt it will happen.

Your sig confuses me Noire.
Mainly because... Apotheosis is not a belief system... It's a synonym for deification or quintessence...
Care to PM me an explanation?

Let's be honest here. You and I both know your chances of winning your first round fight are somewhere in the odds of not happening and no. Your character had issues that weren't 100% clarified on upon submission, that's not entirely your fault.
But how you've conducted yourself, roleplayed on a competitive level, and how you've complained the entire round is a different story. You're only going on these rants of appeasement now that you're fairly sure you're not making it to Round 2, else you'd keep these snide opinions to yourself and we both know it.
Maybe. Just maybe, you made mistakes, and your opponent made less? Could it be you did less favorable than your opponent? Who, by the way has played the match considerably well taking into account she's fighting a brick wall that knows Hokuto Shinken Hokuto Shinken Hokuto Shinken, but I digress, this isn't really about her - I don't know you, you probably don't know me.
And I don't plan on us giving each other phone numbers after this and talking into the wee hours of the night giggling and fondling ourselves. That's where Austin can accommodate you.
But you need to accept, if the Help Desk thread hasn't in detail chronicled where you failed, that you've made some pretty big mistakes in how you play your character - not to mention, if you read back on your own posts in the OOC, your constant and eternal whining is less enjoyable a read than Ertai's work. In fact, many times less so, because at least his s**t's flamboyantly ridiculous and you can get a laugh out of it.
Quit making excuses and talking s**t when things don't go your way, and maybe you'll enjoy deals like these more instead of needing to rely on friends who can't see through paper thin bullshit running it to not be called out on the constant faggotry.
And since I'm fairly sure your blood is green now, HGNGNG-
Now what's for dinner?

When you win it will not be because your fight skills were great but because the hatred for me is greater

So.. better safe than sorry?

I guess people really hated all of my opponents in the DT.
Er wait...
*Flashback*
First round...Alain D. Check.
Second round...Vertowyn or whatever. Check.
Third round...Austin's now dead ogre. Check.
Fourth round...Roen. Double check.
...
I've been winning all this time because people hated my opponents.

So.. better safe than sorry? Well I have been keeping an eye on the absence thread and nothing. So that was my reasoning for asking. If they had posted and said like "I am dead, be back in a few days" I could have at least prepared for that time loss. But I don't normally mind such things but now I am left to work a post in a couple of hours with out being able to ask my opponent any questions and sorta just guesstimate...Just annoying I suppose after 16 hours of work.

Noire. If you do not like this tournament, then I do not understand why you continue to post in this OOC thread. People do not treat you with respect because they do not believe you deserve it. Stop focusing on how little respect you get, and start asking yourself why. I had a lot more in this post, but I think Hael summed it up nicely. Quote: Ahh soko, dear soko, don't you know? When you win it will not be because your fight skills were great but because the hatred for me is greater Oh no. No you did not. How dare you sully another person's victory like that. If she wins, it will be because she was better than you, you pompous a*****e.
