A forward charge was exactly what I was waiting for. I lunge forward with blinding speed, and all anyone sees of the attack is a flash of metal.
"Dazzle Blade," I calmly state from behind Maddy. Her top is damaged and in danger of falling completely off. She can either abandon the fight or her modesty.

Xatu teleports over by Memo and watches the fight rage across the beach.
"I don't think that mode of attack was a good idea. Maddy appears quite upset."

Cody stood up, shaking the sand off his back. "Take it off!" he shouted playfully at Maddy, noticing her tattered top. "Hey Memo. It's been a while." he looked over at his teammate. It had been a long while.

"H-HEY!!!!" Both her eyes suddenly turned completely bright purple. "Ok, time to step this up a little!" She whipped around, aiming her claws straight at his face. Both hands were still on fire, but the fire was starting to spread up her arms and to the rest of her body.

Memo grabbed Xatu and ran over to Cody and Mr.Sandbox hoping Maddy didnt blast him

"Oh crap!" I swear under my breath.
Leaping backward, I summon as much power as I can. Two illusory copies of myself appear and take up a triangular formation around Maddy. With any luck, the energy field created will hold her immobile.
If not, I'm doomed.
With the field set, I and my copies thrust our swords into the sand. "Aurora Strike!" we shout. Assuming I haven't been diced up by this point, a bolt of energy strikes the inside of the triangle. I'm aiming for a knockout shot, but it's a risky move under these circumstances.

From around the corner of the submarine trekked a familiar face; a trainer in a black business suit laced with gold and silver buttons walked, dusting the blue cape around his shoulders and then wiping his hands. He looked up, strained his eyes, and was shocked to find Team Aqua, or what was left of Team Aqua at the old HQ site, Ike, standing around the corner.
Ike relaxed his stance. "I was wrong. What are you doing here Skylar?"
Skylar, the trainer, held his hands up as if being wrongfully accused of a terrible crime. "Whoa, hey, thought I was apart of the team here." he sarcastically joked while fixing his collar.
Lucario leaped from his meditation and walked over to Ike's side.
"You were with someone. I sensed an aura of another."
"Just some kid. I shooed him off."
Trusting Lucario's word that he sensed the auras of an unfriendly, Ike shook his head and knew Skylar was lying. Skylar jerked his head back, knowing this, and rolled his eyes.
"I'm heading back to the HQ. Later." he announced, walking away.
Ike pulled out his TADS and typed a txt to Thard.
Message: Thard, I found Skylar snooping around the wreckage of our old HQ and Lucario may think he was with someone. I was never fully sure about granting him membership, but now I think we have reason to watch his activities. Please, if you can, inconspicuously get answers from him? Thanks.
