I walk over to the PC in headquarters and sign in.
"Pory, I'm gonna need Bayleef. Could you?" I ask, depositing a different pokemon's ball.
A moment later, I have my grass-type in hand.
"Bayleef, could you try calming those two roughnecks down with Sweet Scent?"
The attack is aimed at Combusken and Floatzel.

Maddy appeared behind Thard in the usual burst of purple fire and light. "THARDIEEE!!!" She tackled him, hugging him. "Can I evolve Raine and Antigone? I've been forgetting to get them evolved for weeks now." She laughed.

She said, jumping up onto the ceiling, despite painful protests from her leg. "I'll keep that in mind," I reply, but Reaper's snoring may still cause some audibility problems. I return Bayleef, and have a look at the new TV.

"I wonder if the new TV is flammable." She asked, mostly to herself. She conjured up a little purple fireball. "Ooooooh, I wonder if Thardie is flammable." She crawled over so she was sitting right above Thard, a smirk adorning her face.

"Bayleef, let's have some screens," I say cautiously and release my pokemon.
A Safeguard and a Light Screen soon appear.

"Awww, that's no fun." She closed her hand over the fireball and it disappeared in a few wisps of purple smoke. She suddenly launched herself at Thard. "HAHAHAAAHAHAA!!"

Bayleef jumps aside, ready to snare Maddy with a Vine Whip, but it's unnecessary. In one fluid motion, I sidestep the tackle, catch her around the middle, and spin her upright so she lands on her feet.
"You'll find it very difficult to get the drop on a Selkie twice in one night," I half-taunt.

"Dang. Well... I SAY WE HAVE A MAGIC BATTLE TYPE THINGY!!!" She exclaimed, conjuring several fireballs and juggling them.

"A... magic battle type... thingy?" I ask, puzzled.
One hand recalls Bayleef while the other moves to grip my Dreamcatcher.
"I'm not sure I have time for dueling, and it's a bit risky to fight in the HQ's main room. Besides the obvious risk of damaging the building, this TV looks both new and expensive. We've lost several televisions recently and I don't want to be responsible for breaking another."
