Ah prom.... back in the days when I still had a figure... gosh for me that was... 9 years ago now I think. I had a shmexy body hugging green velvet dress with a slit all the way up to the thigh. The dress was the only good thing about the night alas... bad bad things ruined it but... dang I loved that dress. Can barely fit it over one thigh now but I still have it!

Studying for Series 6 SUCKS!!!

For those of you who know me well, you've heard me complain about this before (LadyFox, Meriko), but I'm gonna do it again because I have a lot of steam to blow off and I only have 2 days left to do it.

On Monday I take my Series 6 exam. Series 6 is a license that requires anyone under the Securites Act of 1933 to be a registered representative of the National Advisors and Securites Dealers (NASD). Basically, in order to sell mutual funds and 401K's and investment type securites. But not trade stocks and bonds, because that's a Series 7 license and the Series 6 is hard enough thankyouverymuch. It all boils down to the fact that it's required for me to keep my job (which I don't love, but eh, it's a job), and I've been looking over this material for the last 4 months, so I just want it DONE ALREADY.

The CRAP that I have to cram into my memory bank is astounding. This test is known to make completely rational people insane (in the membrane), and I didn't have a very long trip to begin with. It's like Economics 101 on crack. My brain is very sore right now.

So...Monday. 12:30. They take away all your stuff, fingerprint you, and stick you in a little cubicle in front of a computer where you'll take the test at the same time you're being monitored on camera in case you cheat (NO PRESSURE). Anyway, I've got the weekend to do some last minute cramming. Wish me luck.

really? eek what a coincidence, i've been spending the past two nights revamping it (i changed directories and whatnot...), and i'll be putting major updates in it soon ^^.

about prom dresses... for both my junior and senior prom, i had two gowns each. i needed big, white ballgowns for when us student government officers do that whole classical song and dance numbers (i got really involved in the student government in high school).

but when it was time to party and let loose, for my junior prom, i had this small white lace dress. then for my senior prom, i had a long, dark blue gown with two (really high) slits up the sides and a low neckline xd .

i kinda wish i have pictures, but i left them all at my parents' house xp .
