Akuyoko Itakio Brawl will be out by the time my birthday comes along. The monsters remind me of kirby (the Roader especially) and Code Lyoko. That's what I thought, too. Also bytan looks like voltorb. At any rate, these guys are badass, especially the ROB squad. xD EDIT: on a side note; looking back at one of the screens that Fish posted, Yoshi has a different symbol than Mario. It's an egg rather than a mushroom. Has it always been like this? O.o yeah... it has

Random question: does anyone know how Wario's chopper move will work? Does he just whip a bike out from of nowhere?

Actually I think it's just there to begin with at each battle with wario in it. It says only one will appear on screen. However, that is the only thing that gives me a hint, but maybe I'm missing something.

Is it just me, or does Piplup look less graphically enhanced than....everything else?

I don't think they put too much effort into modeling the Pokemon, seeing as you don't look at them for too long.

Chibi Kawaii-chan I guess Deoxys looks a bit better, but Piplup doesn't really look much worse than Munchlax. I guess, but Munchlax at least has shading. Piplup seems to go from light blue to almost black in a space of a millimeter. Eh. Nothing to b***h about really. Hopefully he'll replace Marill. That thing was pathetic.
And now I'm off to play Bioshock.

That was just them screwing up the lighting on the render. Since (obviously) this renderer obviously won't be used ingame and problems like these are only significant when rendering single frames, it's not going to be a problem.
The quality of the models are similar.
