Kina glanced at Xol once more and she backed up momentarily; something invisible was on him... Why could she smell this-.. this familiar scent? Her mother? No... Not her. She growled at him once again, padding up to him curiously, standing between zeno and Xol, her curiosity killing her. Her wings flared, glancing behind her to Zeno before examining this figure in front of her once again.

Xol just cackled malevolently as gauntlets formed over his hands and a large portion of his forearms. If he couldn't disembowel, dismember, and behead Mastema quite yet... then Zeno was the next best thing for now.
"No... I think not. You will be my plaything for now..." He cocked his head to the side and leapt into the air. At the top of the arc he threw down the orb of dark matter. He was intenting for it to strike the ground and send up a plume of dust and debris where he could them land behind Zeno and thrust his gauntlets into the machines back.

Kina Jumped away and shifted into her more human form, growling to herself. "What the hell!" she piped, she was almost hit by an orb. She was missed by inches; almost nicking her wing. She found herself wanting to return to her shelter in the woods; a large fox den on the east side of the forest... so she did; shadowing from view and most likely away from the others.

Zeno: Hmph. *Zeno's other sensors worked fine in the debris. Although, backed against a tree he had trouble blocking* BZZT! *Zeno held up his left arm instinctively to block. However, soon after contact, Zeno's arm exceeded its tolerable temperature; his arm started to melt right off and burn part of his uniform. The earth ripple threw him off, and he used the moment to roll away from Kai* Screw this! You guys can take Than! My only charge was to make sure he was alive anyway. *He growled audibly* You take this round Kaiori.... but when the day comes I WON'T LOSE!!! *Zeno was infuriated with yet another loss under his belt. He put Fuuraiken away, aimed his right fist into the air, and fired it. The fist exploded above the trees, scattering firebombs all over the immediate area. The resulting forest fire would be what Zeno would use for his escape. As the trees and ground ignited, Zeno turned around and made a bee line for the citadel. He lets out an echoing scream of anger; he hated retreating*

Little firebombs fell through the area and around him. The dry leaves and assorted underbrush flared up easily, allowing Zeno to escape in the confusion. Tempted to follow, he spotted Than knocked out still on the ground. The fire edged closer to the boy and was now engulfing the entirety of the section of forest they were in. With a quick explosion of power, Xol sent out an immense burst of smothering force to douse the fire. Content that the fire was out by the smoldering leaves he turned to look at Kai.
"Are you going to take him back to your place?"

Kuro had been wandering through the area when the smell of smoke hit her nose, causing her to flinch and cover her mouth. She moved toward the smell, curious to see what was going on.
When she saw the burnt area she came to a halt, it was obvious that someone had used this as a plan of escape, the fire wasn't natural.
She looked about seeing if she could spot anyone, but the smoke was clouding her senses, she tried to find auras, but her gaze was limited.
She walked across the charred ground, taking in the burnt trees. Her aura flared angrily, being half wood elf, she was deeply connected to the forest, her wolf blood only deepening the connection. She touched the trunk of one tree, its bark charred and hot to the touch.

*kaiori nods as her white hair once more draps around her, her purple eyes dart over to Xol* thank you ! thank you so much *she smiles and bows her head, she reclips Silence and stumbles over to Than after picking up the small fur ball creature, she calls out for Death and he lands beside her, after a few more struggling moment she sets Than on Death's back, kaiori looks back at Xol* if you ever need anything ..well you know where to find me ^_^

*Than winces slightly and lets out another groan while he's set on Death's back. As he had been when he used the mass driver to escape, all he had on were male under shorts. The rest of him wasn't in good shape either. The most noticable wound was at the bottom of his back, a stab wound. It was a deep one and obviously went right through Than's spine. His back and scar were smeared in dry blood, while his left side was similar with the appearance that his mechanical arm had been torn off at some point. Fenton was fine, save for being dizzy from a jolt of lightning*

*kaiori sits behind Than and looks over at Death* go fast but gently *Death nods and takes off, his pace was quick but smooth, kaiori uses her good arm to keep Than steady*

"Today sounded interested." Akki mused to himself, inside his cave near the entrance. His eyes were angled to the ground, his ears pricked up, hearing almost everything that went on in the forest beyond his cave. He was able to pick out the voices, but he wasn't sure on one or two of them. His hair still fell slightly wet, his bandages still rather soggy, but at this moment, Akki was at peace.
The solitude was comforting to him. The outside world that he just heard was too rowdy and he knew he wasn't ready to return. He gently closed his eyes and leaned into the cave wall, resting his head against it and breathed deeply, letting his mind drift.

Kuro, moved away from the area, when she got out of smelling distance of the burnt earth, she sniffed at the air, hoping to find water. She raised to her tiptoes, displaying a certain type of innocence, yet caution, when she found the scent her eyes brightened.

It was the waterfall, the one she had met Irvine at, she frowned and glanced around, making sure no one was there, then walked through the falling water.
Once inside she looked to the floor, the place where she had kneeled by Irvines side, when he was about to end his life. She kneeled down in the spot she had taken a few months ago and looked down in the area that once was occupied by his body.
She locked her fingers, lacing them tightly, her knuckles turning white. Her eyes narrowed and she felt the threatening of tears, but she would not let them fall, she had no right to cry, it was Irvine who had been hurt, it was her that had been the one to hurt him.
She stood shakily on her feet and left the small cove that was hidden behind the water fall, she sat near the pools edge, deep in thought, looking at her reflection in the water.

Kina exited her home within the fox hole she had made herself. She had still been in her animal form, wings tightly folded against her body like little side warmers. Soon after she left he fox den, Kina trotted towards the stream where she was that day before with her encounter of that 'wolf' creature. She swayed her three tails boredly and dropped to her haunches, lapping up a few sips of water before she decided to lie in the streams shallows. She tilted her skull slightly before shaking her head, a few beads of water splashing up around her. She sighed, closing her eyes, wondering when she would next find herself a decent meal since the day before was very disappointing...

Kuro found herself still next to the waterfall that led to a small pool, she sighed, realizing that she fell asleep. She stood up and mentally berated herself for being so uncautious, anyone could have attacked her.
Looking down in the pool once more she found herself staring back at her. 'how could you?' she asked herself. 'What are you going to do now?'.
