Lu Bu looked up and noticed a training dummy with a dawn on face blankly looking at him. Lu Bu did not like the face. He did not like it at all. He moved forward and back handed the face, only to be slapped in the gut by one of the many pegs protruding from the device. The academy student stepped back and observed the build of the insolent contraption. He had remembered building some of these during his work under the blacksmith. Which angered him, seeing as his work was now being insulted by such a vulgar drawing. He leapt forward and dove into combat with the deadly training dummy. After an hour of going at it, the dummy broke down. Without realizing it, Lu Bu had slowly been hardening his bones in response to getting hit so many times. He scratched his head, looked around, and shrugged. This was a school. Who could fault him? Wiping down the sweat covering his body, he sat beneath a tree in the yard and closed his eyes. After a good bout, stretching and meditation was important. Especially for Lu Bu, who when excited became a danger to the people around him. [Dummy Fighting: 93+200= Learned + 93 left over]

After having done weightlifting for that day, Omaru should now work on the running with it. A shinobi must be able to carry a wounded teammate around at any time. He took Kami from his shoulder and put him in his shoulder bag, leaving the flap open, so that Kami could see where they went. He lifted the same rock on his back, and kept handling it until it was in a comfortable position. It was easier than the lifting, because here he is able to let it support on his back. He then started walking, and later on running. He went out of the bushes he had used for training and ran all over the academy fields. While running, he sent chakra to his legs to strengthen them, so that he could keep going. In the distance, he saw the same people again, now practicing the water walking technique. That male student seemed to be doing great though the female one seemed uneasy to start. Omaru frowned. He had planned to run over the water of that pond, because he didn’t want to risk getting stuck again in the pool of sludge in his hideout. There was a smaller pool nearby, somewhat 20 yards from where the two were practicing, and Omaru went there instead. While running at a constant speed, he directed chakra to his feet, in a large amount, counting the extra weight with him. He ran towards the pool and before he knew it, he was on the other side. Stopping abruptly, he looked back towards the pond. He had done it! He just ran over water with a large rock on his back! He stepped back on the surface and made some rounds. He couldn’t help but smile, and made a small victory dance on the water. He stepped back to the edge and dropped the builder on the side, falling on the grass next to it, arms wide and panting. He then turned his head to look at how the others where doing. If one would look, he would smile back.

Lu Bu began to stretch, breathing in and out as he ran through the various positions he had been taught to get all the kinks out of his muscle. A warrior's weapon was his body, and it had to be tuned to perfection. Although Lu Bu was impatient, he was no fool. This had its importance too. After stretching out, the academy student cracked his neck twice and closed his eyes. Sitting quietly under the tree, he began to clear his mind. It was a hard to thing to do. The ground he was sitting on was soaked with the blood, sweat, and adrenaline of generations of shinobi. The scent of battle called out to him, and he found it harder and harder to concentrate. His thumbs began tapping nervously on his knee. He took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. He was the master of his body. It would be useless if he couldn’t master his mind, for that was how chakra manifested itself. A balance of both was the key. He began by ignoring the smell. He concentrated on the sounds around him, and only that. But then, the sound of the metal on metal of the sparring matches called out to him. The thudding sound a kunai made as it hit his target. He was getting hard just thinking about fighting. Quickly, trying to escape the call of battle he turned his focus inward. He focused solely on the slowing rhythm of his heart beat and the sensation of…well of simply existing. After a few minutes passed, a single leaf fell from the tree he was sitting under, dancing in the cool winter air of the mist. It landed squarely on his head, and Lu Bu opened his eyes. A blank slate, he stood up and took a deep breath. Eight more leaves fell, and the Kaguya snatched them all from the air before they hit the ground. He smiled.

Water walking!|600 skill|305/600| Serina looked up at a boy, or atleast his clipboar. Tilting her head and raising a eyebrow she wondered why the boy was using a clipboard. Smirking at the mocking tone of written down words she shook her head. Serina was gonna do this techinque and become genin no matter what. "I am." She had a determined, errr insane kind of look that ment she was gonna do it. Now she didn't care if she got wet or not, this techinque would get done! "Forget the pie, I'm getting sake when I become a genin!" She thought. Grabbing the boy's arm, Serina pulled him off the water and onto land so she could focus and do the techinque without him infront of her, starring. Serina hated starring...she hated other stuff but that wasen't the point. Putting her hands together, she began to focus after making sure the boy didn't interfer. [[quick post, will finish rest of training tomorrow]]

(You only really need to worry about the non-indented paragraphs) Torrest raised an eyebrow as he was pulled off the water's surface. Of course, these were really the only techniques he cared for in this academy since he was bent on becoming a Taijutsu master greater than Rock Lee and Gai from Hidden Leaf. Of course, this would mean he would have to learn from them as well but that did not matter to him. They would be merely the first of many stepping stones that he would need to move over to reach his goal of greatest taijutsu master of the world. He sat down upon the ground and looked at the girl, staring at her intently like he was bent on trying to break her concentration or just screw with her head in a messed up manner. The tattoo upon his body itched a bit but that was probably just residual feelings he had when the tattoo was placed upon his body. Not really much he could do about that but to bear it since scratching would just make it itch worse. He could remember when his family started to tattoo him long ago. It was a rather painful procedure since he was tattooed in the manner of ancient Japanese art, being poked repeatedly with a incredibly sharp needle that was dipped into ink. He was probably no older than 7 when his parents decided he was old enough to don the tattoo of his clan and carry out the family tradition of the oldest child becoming a ninja. The tattoo took a whole 4 days to complete just one side but his parents decided that only one side was enough instead of doing the whole torso like they originally planned. It would be for another week Torrest could sleep on that side again because it was still raw. But after the swelling and the pain subsided, the beauty of his tattoo could be seen. It was only about a few years later that Torrest asked the man who gave him his tattoo to continue the design up the arm and upon his left hand but not the remainder of his body. Even then, it took nearly a week to finish since Torrest had to come in on appointments every other day. Finally Torrest was free from the needle up to this day he started the academy.Torrest drifted back to reality to realize he had stopped staring for a bit before he turned his gaze upon Serina once more. This time, he was just watching to make sure she would be alright. [425 + 45 = 470] (How is it that I'm ending my more recent posts with a multiple of 5?)

Water walking|600 skill|507/600| Serina turned her head slowely to the boy then her body. She wasen't known for good temper control cause she was more of a boiler. Something that has to be managed or it will explode, tinkering with it will justu make it go out of control. She gave him the evil eye and turned back to the water. Putting her hands together to focus on putting chakura to her feet to balance on the water. She tapped the water with her foot to see if it would go through it or not and it did. Good thing she didn't try it out fully. Putting her foot back on the ground she focused again. It was boring and annoying to do it especially with someon- wait. She haden't heard a peep out of the boy behind her at all. Looking behind her the boy seemed in a daze! Yippie! Yippie! Crap he came back to earth. Crap! crap! Frowning she turned back around to the water as her hair had no breaks and slapped her in the face head on.

Lu Bu walked calmy through the training grounds, observing what each group was practicing. He wondered where he should go next when one of the more badass sensei of the mist picked him up by the scruff of his collar, turned him, and punched him in the face. Lu Bu spat out a curse but did not retaliate. He knew better than to challenge this one. “You need to finish ALL of your graduation requirements, before we will let you leave this place.” A malicious grin spread across his face. “Remember, we determine whether you graduate or not. And while some of the…weaker…teachers might pass you on just to be rid of you. I am going to make sure you leave this place at the top of your game. You shall Not be allowed to make our village look pathetic just because you’re an arrogant little s**t.” He clocked him on the head again and threw him down onto the ground. Lu Bu rubbed his jaw and stood to his feet. The old b*****d didn’t even bother pulling his punches, knowing full well that the academy student’s blood line would pull him through it. Looking down in approval at his obedience, the teacher asked the assistant what was left on the skills test. “The bushin no jutsu and the Art of Substitution, Sir.” “Right then. Let’s see it boy. You have three tries to clone yourself. Go.” Lu Bu shot a venomous glare at the man but complied with his wishes. He thought back to what they had taught him in class and the review he had done in preparation for today. He formed the hand seals and tried to make a clone. A poof of smoke appeared beside him and a chibi version of himself stood waist high, trying to look intimidating. It was failing pretty hard. “BWAHAHAHA. You call that a clone boy!” The teacher wiped a tear away from his eye. “No, no. Forgive me. That would be the perfect distraction during battle.” Lu Bu grit his teeth and tried again. Another poof of smoke and a replica of the student appeared. The sensei looked closely at it and shook his head. “You made him look too good. You have to copy your imperfections as well. I know, I know. It’s a lot of work with that mug of yours!” The teacher broke out in laughter again and a vein popped out on Lu Bu’s forehead. He made a perfect clone, who was promptly mooning the instructor. A swift kick in the taint later, Lu Bu stood alone before the proctor. “Humph. It was good enough for me to miss.” He said jokingly. “Next jutsu. You have ten minutes to prepare it before I issue the next exam!” Lu Bu bared his teeth but said nothing. He began throwing a kunai up in the air and trying to perform the jutsu properly. While he felt it was just a cowardly as the henge jutsu, he knew the art of substitution actually held some merit in combat. Sometimes…more often than he cared to admit, the opponent could be swifter and more sly than he. They did live in a world of shinobi after all. As time went by, he felt he was ready to execute the technique properly. On the 8th minute, the jounin teacher appeared behind him suddenly. “Ambush!” He screamed into Lu Bu’s ear while aiming another swift kick to the groin. Lu Bu grabbed the nearest student and switched places with him, letting the younger boy take the kick for him. The little boy cried out in pain, and the head examiner ran over to scold the man. Lu Bu cackled silently behind the examiner, walking away briskly. He heard something about toning down the behavior least some red tyrant came down and disciplined them. Lu Bu didn’t care to listen. If this guy was a real threat, He would have been aware of it by now. Unfortunately for Lu Bu, he really didn’t keep up with the news in the current world. He took his time going back to the blacksmith with whom he lived. The old man would probably have a large order for him when he got back. He laughed and pulled out two kunai attached to string. As he walked through the village, he tossed them at random targets, practicing to improve his accuracy at different velocities and angles. His dream to become a tyrant with both long range and close range taijutsu kept him fixated on the prize, and he planned on making that dream a reality. Tightening the Forehead protector he had received upon graduation securely around his head, he walked into the smith shop.

Saden Zoto, a boy of the age fifteen, walked into the academy. All he had to do was learn one of these jutsu and he could leave. Please, this can’t be too hard, I already know far more advanced jutsu, he thought as he read down the list. Bunshin no Jutsu seems okay, plus it would really work well with that illusion jutsu I’ve been trying to learn, he thought as he examined the instructions. He walked towards a corner, away from the other students, trying to avoid the others as he had done for all his life. He started to practice the hand signs, making sure each one was right before even attempting the jutsu. After he had finished that, he proceeded to learning the jutsu itself. He let the chakra flow through his body and formed the necessary hand signs. However, no clone had appeared before him. He looked back at the information, Oh, that was the wrong hand sign. He headed back to his corner and started to try again. He formed the hand signs once more, this time using the right ones, and soon a clone appeared. Saden examined his clone, Wow, that was terrible. It barely even looks like me. Time to start over I guess. He started to channel the chakra throughout his body and quickly formed the hand signs. A clone appeared before him once more, this time it looked just like him. Awesome, now lets take this up a notch, he thought as he let his chakra flow. He formed the hand signs and created three clones, exactly like him at the same time. He made all three clones punch the air. So that’s how you control them, now let’s try for some individual action, He made the first one run forward, while the second one threw an air kick, and the third jumped forward. He disabled the jutsu and left the academy, ready to start learning some cooler jutsu.

Hanai Kashiyasu ` Hidden Void Hanai lowered one foot, shuddering at the coldness that crept up her leg. She let her toes fully submerge in the water, oddly enjoying the feel of it as it raced over her flesh. A splash not far off brought her back to her senses, and she looked up, watching one of her classmates climb up out of the river, water still grasping at their clothes and hair. Almost as if begging...Hanai lifted her foot out of the water and placed it back on the Earth, wiggling her toes. She supposed she should be trying to learn this technique, but her interest was not anywhere in it. Walking on water...something that people really should not be able to do, according to science. Scientifically, there was not enough surface tension for humans to be able to withstand gravity, and not meet a watery death. But according to others, that was bologna. Hanai was one of those others. If you could focus your mind and correctly use your chakura, you could do just about anything...
There she went again, getting dreadfully lost in her thoughts when there was work to be done. Simple, boring work...but work nonetheless. She pressed her fingers together and slowed her breath, lowering her head as er eyes slid shut. It was routine, it was vital. She could feel her heart beat beginning to slow, and a sense of eery calm wash over her. Here in the darkness behind her lids, there was comfort.
She took a step forward, and her foot slipped right in, causing her to blink. She frowned, lowering herself to her butt so that she would not tip forward. What had gone wrong, exactly? She had done what she had done many times before, and just how she had done it. So what had happened? She rested back on her hands, studying her wet foot. Maybe...maybe she had...
Oh. Stupid Hanai. She had been so focused on relaxing, on being calm and comforted, that she had not even bothered to use her chakra. She had simply relaxed, without doing the actual work required to complete the task she had been given. Sweet...sweet sweet Hanai. Had she been anyone else, she would have smiled. But her face held the same impassive look it had shown since peeling her eyes open this morning.
She stood and brushed herself off, pressing her fingers together once more. This time, she did not focus so much on calming her body, but using the energy she had to bend her chakra in the way she needed. Feeling confident, she stepped forward. Once...twice...three times. She slowly slid her eyes open, glancing down at her feet. She stood on top of the water, watching it rush beneath her. There. All finished.

Yamata wonders around the academy with an aimless and bored look on his face. His first day of training in order to become a ninja in the Hidden leaf village seemed to him to be less than glorious so he decided to skip training today a just go for a walk around the grounds. Around him the students tended to their own business, gabbing on about their training and other insignificant topics. Yamata stopped after a little while and looked at the beautiful scenery of the grounds. He spotted a near-by stream and he watched as The water's current swept calmly across the surrounding rock bed. a single leaf came loose from a near-by tree and it slowly drifted into the water and was suddenly taken by this current. Yamata kinda gazed at the leaf for a bit, but soon lost interest. He then went on his way again, wandering the academy for no reason. He then soon spotted a fellow ninja-in-training working vigiously at a technique. He stopped and watched, seeing if he could learn anything (177/ 300 for sparring )

While Omaru was still recovering, he reasoned that he might as well start with another practice. He was too tired to go dummy fighting and he had no one to spar with, so he concluded it would be the perfect moment for a little meditation. He sat up and went to sit in lotus position, legs crossed and hands resting on his knees, his thumb touching his middle finger. Followed with deep, controlled breaths, he closed his eyes and let his thoughts fade into the emptiness of space. Darkness surrounded him, though it didn’t exactly felt evil or bad. He floated alone in an infinite space, all by himself. Other people might have found the feeling of being completely alone disturbing, frightening even, but Omaru experienced nothing new. For as far as he could remember he had been alone. Other than other children of the Inuzuka clan, he hadn’t had any parents who loved him, who would give him a puppy from their own dog’s offspring for him to care for. No one ever bothered integrating him into the Inuzuka clan, or gave him the tattoos. He had had to accomplish everything alone, and that was one of the reasons he had started ninja training this late. He had wanted to start training from the moment he had his own pup, but he hadn’t had found the right one until now. He decided he would give himself the tattoos when would become a genin. He should first have to acquire the needed supplies. Firstly, he should need a mirror, even a shard would do. Secondly, he should have to find something thin to cut with, a needle at best. Then, of course, he should have to find the ink somewhere. That would be the most troublesome part, he reckoned. He didn’t have enough knowledge to make the ink himself, though he did know that one could use ocher and berries to get the color red. He didn’t have enough money to buy any ink either. He should have to steal it. Or at least steal money to buy it, since that is easier. Omaru realized his thoughts where wandering, and concentrated once again, to finish his session. After the meditation, Omaru stood up, took the bag with his sleeping pup in it, and walked for the dummy training fields. This would be the last practice of the day. He put his bag against a tree, and put on the gloves that had been in a side pocket. They where made of black leather and where provided with metal clips on the knuckles, to attach knives or pins. He took a bow of approximately 12 inches out of another side pocket and opened it. There was a whole arsenal of pins and knives of different lengths for different purposes present. Together with Kami, these objects where the most valuable things in his possession, and he cherished them with all his heart. For this practice, he chose a set of blades that where already partially blunt. They where obviously used a lot, and he used them only for practice. These where also the only blades that weren’t treated with his special poison. He shove them into the shafts and clicked the safety locks close. Now equipped with eight claws with an average length of 5 inches, he stepped for the nearest dummy and lashed out for the stomach. Even though the knives where blunt, the fabric tore easily, and the intestines of his victim, in this case sawdust, spilled abundantly on the ground. -As Aero walked through the doors into the classroom where he was to learn to become a full shinobi to honor his family as a Hyuuga. He sat down in the very back row behind two kids snarling and picking on the girl in front of them. He looked at them with his vicious eyes the scar across his left eye hidden behind the hood he wore on his head. Aero leaned forward putting his elbows down on the desk keeping his hands near his face. He looked to his looking outside watching some of the other students practicing throwing shuriken and kunai, certain students excelling more than others. Aero looked ahead as he saw the teacher walk in. He leaned back in his chair not bothering to take his hood off-
"Iruka-Sensei! I am ready to learn Bushin No Jutsu today! I am ready when you are ready to start!"
-Iruka nodded and beckoned Aero to come forth to begin the demonstration for the technique they were to learn for the day- "Today class we will be learning the Bushin No Jutsu, which allows you to make clones such as this. Bushin No Jutsu!" -Iruka performed a handsign and a clone of himself appeared beside him looking at the class- "Now, Aero I would like to see you give it a try. Just put your hands like I did and say the words."

-Aero nodded and rolled his neck cracking it. He performed the handsign and he closed his eyes concentrating real hard on his objective- "Bushin No Jutsu!" -Aero said the words necessary for the jutsu. Pushing a decent amount of chakra out he performed the jutsu making a passable clone off. It lasted for a good thirty seconds before disappearing leaving only the true Aero standing beside Iruka and the podium-
"Excellent! Very impressive Aero. Hyuuga family at its finest."
-Aero bowed in respect and walked back to his seat getting glares from the other students-

-The next day Aero came into class sitting in his usual spot. He noticed that he was the only one that was there. He started playing with his thumbs as he waited for the teacher or other students to show up. He yawned loudly as the teacher walked in setting his paperwork down on the podium-
"Ah, Aero Hyuuga I see you made it today. It's good to see you. Today I would like to work on meditation. Meditating is very good for a shinobi. Meditation is used for various reasons like chakra building or used for strategies." -Iruka sat down in front of the podium his legs crossed and he put his hands together closing his eyes so he could start his meditation- "Come, join me in meditation."
-Aero stood up and walked over to Iruka sitting in front of him doing as Iruka did so that he may begin meditating-
