I know the feeling. I'm the huge gamer of the family, so when there are huge get-togethers I bring the entertainment for my younger cousins. Now, they're at the age where they know to be careful with my stuff. That wasn't so before... Case in point: I brought my N64 to a Christmas party with the two controllers I owned. I go upstairs. Soon, I hear a scream from my then-3-year-old little princess of a cousin (aka, this was three years ago. :XP: ).
She runs up and brings the controller with her. And a pair of scissors. She was pissed because she'd cut the wire in half and the controller didn't work anymore.
I. Was. Pissed. Off.
scream And her mom, my aunt, is such a b***h. I mean, all she says is "She's a kid, suck it up." My uncle is nice though, and told her not to do it or she wouldn't get anymore toys. Which only made her cry and scream more. But it got the picture through her head... All's well though. I got a new controller and my cousin knows to be careful when she plays Nintendogs on my DS. My aunt is still a b***h, though.
Case in point: Every single time we go over to her house and spend the night (not very often at all), she makes my grandparents (
her parents) and me clean her giant of a house. She paid me a dollar. A goddamn dollar. To clean the entire house. While she gave orders to her three kids and her husband and her parents and me. She is actually nice, but when you get on her bad side or you meet her on a bad day... watch out..
So! There's my rant for the day!
