Mouse is amazing.
Ashriel frowned, not liking that. She stepped over by the couch and sat down, trying to think of where she had gone wrong. Jennalin looked at Raevyn and nodded, going to walk over to Ash. "I'm sorry..." Ash muttered, and a little bit of smoke could be smelled coming out of the oven's vents.
See, that wasn't so bad, was it?

Mouse is amazing.
The cookies were still...alright...however, one had exploded, and there were random bits of dough all around the oven. No doubt it would need to be cleaned before it could be used again. The smoke detector went off, and Lucian frowned, his face scrunching from the loud noise. He really did not want to open the window, but it seemed like they would have to. He walked over and opened their living room window slightly, standing right next to it.
See, that wasn't so bad, was it?

Raevyn might notice, as he bit into the one, that it was missing one key ingredient - sugar. The smoke detector shut off, and Lucian quickly shut the window as Ash stood up, walking over to them. She took her own bite of one, scrunching her face. They tasted like rye bread, not at all how she wanted them to taste. She frowned, dropping the cookie she'd bitten off of into the trashcan. "Next time, you are making the cookies..." Ashriel told Raevyn softly, pouting.
See, that wasn't so bad, was it?

Ashriel blinked as Raevyn continued to eat the cookies. She smiled slightly, feeling a little better that her failed attempt wasn't a complete waste. "But they are complete failures...they don't even taste like cookies..." She muttered, angry at her failed attempt.

"Are you...are you sure?" Ashriel asked, looking at him as he made another one of his little sandwiches. Jennalin and Lucian stood up, walking over to each do the same as Raevyn was doing, more in attempt to relax Ashriel than anything else.

After eating on, Jennalin returned to the couch, not making any sort of face. Lucian, however, took another one quickly and made another sandwich. Ash smiled, seeing that Lucian seemed to like them too. "Alright, but I still want some real cookies."
