Alcy held up one hand, not removing her eyes from the screen. "Mountain Dew, please, Cely-san. And," she continued, speaking in the general direction of the Guitar-Heroers, "After you guys finish this song, play Reptilia, it's stuck in my head."

"You got it, Alcy-sempai," he murmured, watching Hikaru, even as he laughed. This boy was in for a world of pain. As the song started and then the notes came, they flew by the screen. Watari missed none as his hands moved swiftly over the frets.

Kaoru smiled over at Watanuki. "Mm, just a little. My brothers going to be busy for a while."

If it had not been for Hikaru's years of gaming with Kaoru, the younger boy might just have stood there, jaw hung open and eyes bugging out. The speed of the notes crossing the screen was enough to make another other inexperienced player cry... But Hikaru's nimble fingers went straight to work, his face drawn and serious.

By the end of the round, he'd ended up missing about a third of the notes. He frowned slightly, glancing sideways at Watari then widened his stances, cracking his knuckles. "That was a nice warm up... next song?"

Cely gave a nod and tossed a mountain dew at Alcy and one at Hikaru before his game began. She chanced a glance toward Kaoru and Watanuki and spotted her goal. "Ahh, chexmix!" She sat indianstyle by Kaoru and reached her hand into the chexmix. "Ah, thank you for getting snacks, Watanuki-san!" She smiled kindly at him, having not started off on the greatest foot. She offered her bag to them. "Drinks, you two?"

Watanuki's face grumped at Kaoru's reply. "I'm tired of hearing about you being left alone. You can always come bug me when that happens."

Still frowning, he reached for a random drink when Cely offered. He managed to say "Thank you" politely enough at least. He didn't really pay much attention to what he was taking, or maybe not much attention to what he was doing at all, seeing as he brushed against Kaoru in an effort reach over him.

Can of soda in hand, he sat back against the couch again, still lost in his thought. He felt kind of angry... but he looked back to Kaoru to confirm his last statement. "Okay?"

"Heheh, had you any doubt in me?" She presented a chilled bottle of root beer and closed her eyes, smiling. "You don't ever need to feel alone, you can come to any one of us if you ever need anything, I'm sure." We may not all be your twin, but we'll try the best we can to understand. Cely added silently, but you could only read it in her eyes. She quickly grabbed some more chexmix as an excuse to hide them for the moment.

Watanuki was caught off guard by such an agreeable response. He was too used to dealing with obstinate people (look who's talking...), and his anger vanished in a flash. With Kaoru looking back at him, he suddenly felt a little shy, and his cheeks were a tad warm. He quickly looked to one side, and spoke with a still stubborn tone, "Well, okay then."

His hands started to feel really cold for some reason. He looked down. "Ah~!" It was a can of Sprite, and why he was so surprised to be holding it was beyond comprehension. He popped it open and took a sip, and swallowed too much fizz at once. He fumbled to set it down as he held a hand over his mouth coughing.

Amidst coughs he nodded, but it wasn't very convincing since he seemed to be dying. After a few seconds, Kaoru's assistance in the matter proved successful, and he regained a normal breathing pattern. Mostly.

He felt so embarrassed about acting like a fool, and being so close to Kaoru, that he sported a vibrant blush. "Um... thank you..." he was hesitant to sit back up, in his efforts to hide. However he couldn't resist looking up at his savior, unknowingly showing how grateful and enamored he was.
