i can go back to the old Nova Corp, which i've been a part of since the beginning (and about a month after i joined Gaia). i wasn't too bad with grammar, since writing was my thing in high school anyway. plus, i love making up stories. i used to do it all the time with my parents... hahah.

but yeah, you can kinda gauge your progress by looking back. plus, it really helps that i RP with other good RPers. i think that's really what has been helping me. when you see someone come up with one good post after another, it stirs the desire to better one's self. it's like what they say, "if you want to fly like an eagle, you gotta stop hanging out with the turkeys."... or something to that effect.

using asterisks to denote action is still pretty prevalent out there, so i suppose i'd still do it if i were to venture out of this guild. but since we have story arcs and plots like an actual novel, i've switched to a style that's more appropriate. but i'd still use an asterisk outside should i feel the urge to RP out there. with idiots. stare

i'm really sorry to hear that. i hope things turn out ok soon. this is your summer vacation, right? cripes. anyway, i have an aunt who lives near london and if my sister moves in with her, i might come along to check the place out. i've never been to europe even though a third of the company's already been to our offices in new castle and new milton. i guess i'm not high enough in the pecking order. but good luck to you and i pray things turn out well soon.

yes, yes, but don't you think it's kind of cool to have logged into gaia BEFORE they were created? i'd pay close attention to your inventory if i were you, even go as far as take screen caps of it just so you have evidence that you had stuff before they go missing (knock on wood). just in case. hmm... i should probably check mine. i didn't spend the last couple of years and a short stint as a vend whore just for my prized possessions to go kaput.

in other news, i'll be out of town starting tomorrow night (along with hohn, we're actually meeting up with jubei but they're not as active anyway) up until sunday. i'll have extremely limited internet access, and i mean extremely limited because all i'll be able to do is read from my sidekick. as sarai would tell you, posting from my sidekick results in some really bad spelling and disjointed posts. so, even though technically i could, i ought not to. i should still be able to read and after tomorrow i should be able to post again by next monday. this really only affects the geonosis group since Kyo (the character) is opting for a good night's rest. hopefully the geonosis group picks up so Jubei (the character) can go his merry way and i don't have to hold people back when i'm not able to post.

ok, tomorrow morning Im going away for 8 nights. I might be able to post while im away but if not soz.

I'll finish off what im doing with Triskal before I go though.
