"Yukiko wouldn't be here if you didn't give up Kai. And did Yamato say he was going to kill him? And another thing. Kai wouldn't want you guys hurt just to protect him. Devon should have at least known that." Seta shrugged. "So he was smart and did what his friend would have wanted him to do."

"This is your break." Seta looked back at Selina. "And you might want to have a talk with Kai, Devon too, learn more about your partners. You'll be back in the present soon. There'll be work to do." Seta sighed.
The static faded and Seta vanished. Kanji was looking at Devon with an irritated face. They were standing inside a building that had giant portraits of all of Kai's friends lining the walls.
