Temple of Falis, Before the Dawn, The Rotherby Building rofl , My soon to open Bright Valley petting zoo... I'm on my phone otherwise I'd have more things to add to this mainstream list. Then again, some of them might be dirt old. Like the Firebrand.

The Fiend of the West Tenkai: I know, but Kong is not really fit for Gaia or me anymore. He is around as some sort Warp Mutated monster, but I don't have any love for him anymore. It was so fun while it lasted, but the magic is dead. Then something must be done about this. >>

Real RP talk now.
My real issue isn't that I don't like plot, that I don't have fun in it.
I did with the T.F.O.A and loved it.
Its that I haven't been able to make a character since Kong before his magic died that I like.
I don't even like my current character.
He is annoying and whiny.

xl a c e lx Rhoslyn Vernal Why am I on the list?
eek
No, seriously. I'm not on the list. Replace me with Darth.
Also, on the current topic: I really, really want to make a List Of Mainstream Gaia. Just get all of the owners and such to agree that this s**t all occurs in the same universe, and check with the people in the thread.
Like, if I were to start at the BSB, it'd extend to HoH and the GTB and the C&D... Venom Signet, TFOA.... probably a few others I can't think of offhand.
Someone else contribute what the "Mainstream" is.
Okay by me. One place to start might a practical world map denoting the locations of all those involved. Make it easier to see, for example, where the BSB is in relation to the C&D, or the GTB tournament grounds.. and for like, The VSS Capita, would make their air navigation much less.. aimless. rofl
This isn't OF DIRE IMPORTANCE, but it'd be kind of cool for like, being able to gauge travel time and just having a general idea of direction, etc.
So you guys do realize that all of this type of discussion is what started the Levi guild, right?

The Vansin I second what Ross says. Mainstream was a good idea. And all it would take is a small banner at the front of each thread and group that's in it, and a small discussion about appropriate power levels. Because frankly, the VS is all about creating interwoven plots. So this is pretty relevant to our interests.
Oh hell yeah.
If we could all get on a uniform power level system, that would make things so much easier~ :U

we tried a mainstream group called the network, had about 24 guilds linked and later put it under Alexandria, my old guild. All together there were somewhere between 4000 and 6000 members, but organizing anything nearly impossible. This tournament and HoH are among the biggest non sponsored events in Gaia to be quite honest. A lot of the cool ideas we had back in those days were crushed by the corporate whoring done by admins.

I wouldn't actually want a map for a mainstream world.
I'd prefer to leave it more open ended. No map means no borders; people can add new locations, cities, etc., as they like. You can just give a rough approximation of where the location is in comparison to a notable point on the "Gaia" map, like Barton or Durem.
EDIT:: On that note, I would also avoid DESTROYING these "canon" locations that Gaia has made. Durem, Barton, so forth. That way people can use them as locations without having to deal with the consequences of a wholly unrelated storyline that they didn't even know about.

As someone who's been banned about 10 times for breaking almost every portion of the ToS, I can tell you for certain that you have no idea what you're talking about. The mods cannot in any way physically shut me down unless they come and kill me.
That being said, collecting items and gold is easy, and I could be on any account calling myself "KB" and the result of my posts would be the same. The mods are powerless save for their ability to dissuade people or delete posts.
It's amusing.

Meh...
Well, I only have a few inputs to that, which is basically
"Aside from plot-appropriate Retconjuration, no ******** with time."

I like celery... I don't know if I trust Miracle Whip... isn't that cheese in a can!?
Still, thank you for sharing! <3 I now have "Tuna Casserole" and "Lolli's tuna recipe" on my list of creative tuna ideas. You can sub miracle whip for mayo, I just prefer the taste of miracle whip. I don't use a lot though, maybe 1 Tbsp for every 4 servings of Tuna. As for that, I normally toast a sub bun with either provolone or pepper jack cheese. I've tried colby and it added a little more of a kick to it.

Noire: There wouldn't be any real heavy organizing to do..
It'd be like, adopting the metric system. Just get thread owners to say, "We support the mainstream standards" and link to the information specs and such, and that's that.
At least, that's how I'm thinking about it. I feel like this is more of a conversion thing.. Like saying, we use DND power levels, only saying, We use this power level system, this set of literacy/guidelines...
and that's it. Once you try to go outside of that (or something of the kind) -- like by trying to have us all interweave plot and such, then you're getting too big. Too complicated. Let individual sects like the Signet worry about plot and stuff.

Of course, knowing how wall-of-texty I get, I'd like to make a thread with lots of information on what Mainstream is. Not just locations, but organizations, people, gods, governments, background cities, etc.
Basically, I will specify: "in general, no reality warpers".
