Miriam The Bat I originally started taking the pill because it was prescribed to me for my anemia. Which is why my mom pays for it with no questions asked... >_> I'm the girl who is envied because she didn't start until she was a Junior and THEN was still only having her flow once every four months or more. ninja

I hate anti-baby pills. I miss the patch. Once a week, I can handle, easy. Once a day?? At a regular time?? Way too far above my performance level.

The shot scares me too much, because if you have nasty side effects, it doesn't wear off for three whole MONTHS.

I don't like the idea of having a thing stuck to some part of my body all the time. I don't know where I could put it, besides somewhere on my butt or something.
I have to take a certain variety of the pill so I don't get sick and throw it up, and I don't think the patch comes in that formula.

Miriam The Bat I don't like the idea of having a thing stuck to some part of my body all the time. I don't know where I could put it, besides somewhere on my butt or something. *lol* Well, I used to put it on my lower abdomen, near my hip bone. I hated it on my backside because it tended to itch more. But other than that, once I got used to the feeling of it, I never noticed it. Kind of like a Band-aid.
...scratch that, I HATE band-aids. But this was fine. If only they made a patch version of the mini-pill. *le sigh*

I'm on the pill myself, to prevent anemia sweatdrop My menstrual cycle is completely wacky. x_X I was offered to placed on a pill that would make me get menstate once every three months, but my mom didn't like that idea too much >>' If I did want to do that, I just wouldn't take the placebo pills((Actually, the doctor told me they do it when it's their anniversery coming up and stuff x3))
And it's no problem Kimi ^_^ heart Your comment meant(and still does) mean a lot to me. I just feel bad it took me this long to catch you to finally tell you.
Oh, and just on a random note. I hate MRIs, especially when the test is done 2 seconds after the previous one ended and you can't move around for that second.
I'm off to bed now x3 I'm getting up in 4 hours and I don't want to be too grumpy in the morning.

OOO! Thanks for the info guys. Will be back to ask Miri about the anemia bit.
My doctor looked horrified at me when I asked her if you could take the pill for other reasons than birth control.

I second what Miss Kimini said. biggrin
My pill isn't for sex. It's so I'm crabby one week and not crabby every blasted day like I was. xd
Holy crap... I have to be up at 6:30am to see Aidian off for school and to talk to him a bit before hand. sweatdrop I love my fiance that I sacrifice my time to sleep in.
Sleep sweet to those that will be retiring to bed and have a pleasant day for those that have the day ahead of them.

Some doctors have morals against birth control pills. My doctor at the college health center highly recomended that I take it for all kinds of reasons (and they have lots of good benifits for even the completely virginial). But when I told the nurse at my preop exam what medication I was taking, she looked completely discusted at me and was cold to me the rest of the exam.
Speaking of Anemia, I should go eat a steak now *goes to get leftover steak from fridge*
