Arekku squints and rubs the end on the goggles to make sure he see's Reaper's shadowed figure in the distance, "There he is!" He yells, "Ey! Reaper!!" He yells to get his attention. "Good idea Maddy!"

"Well, seeing how he's on the way..." She reached into her pocket and pulled out the incendinary grenades she was going to test. She began to prepare them.

"Wait a second... he's gone again..." Arekku stands up to get a better look. "No... wait he fell. I'll go help him.." He ran to where Reaper was, and helps him back up and to where Maddy and Arekku had been waiting for him.

Maddy looked at the both of them. "Both of you ready to duck behind that rock now?" She asked them.

"Uhh, yeah!" Arekku sat down behind the rather large rock with his back to it. "Are we going to be able to watch somehow without being burnt ourselves?"

"Yeah, just stay behind the rock and peek out if you really wanna see it." She said, walking out to the place where she had previously indicated she'd set off the bomb.

An explosion occurs in the lab and black smoke leaks out from behind the door.
*cough cough* I guess I was supposed to cut the blue wire..."
Mawile climbs to her feet, pitch black from soot, and begins to give Dark heck.
"MA WILE! WILE WILE!!!!"
Dark wanders over to the wall and flicks a switch, turning a fan on and clearing the smoke.
"No, just because I made the bomb doesn't mean I know how to disarm it. I was half asleep when I made it..."
Mawile stares blankly at Dark for a few seconds then wanders out of the lab, shaking her head.

Once she was a fair distance away from them, Maddy pressed the little black button on the incendinary grenade that she had decided was the best to use. Just like one of her Super Bombs, the grenade began to flash and beep periodically, the frequency of flashing and beeping increasing as it got closer to exploding. However, it only flashed red, while one of Maddy's Super Bombs would normally flash multi-color. Laying it in the sand, Maddy ran off to dive behind the rock with the other two, the beeping getting louder and faster. She just barely made it behind the rock as the bomb exploded. A huge shockwave of fire, just as Maddy had predicted, erupted from the tiny mechanism, sending waves of purple flame flying in all directions.
Once the chaos died down, Maddy looked out from behind the rock. The side of the rock that faced towards the bomb was seared black. And all the sand in that particular area had been melted to form a purple glass. "Wow. It turned the sand into glass." She scratched her head in confusion. "It was way more powerful than I predicted. Good thing we weren't killed." She said with a slight shrug.

Arekku looks at the glass like the other two were, "Amazing...". He stands up, looking down at his cell for the time, "Oh crap!! I gotta jet!" He lets Aro out, Aro flaps his wings hard enough to clear out the sandstorm long enough for the two to leave the scene.

Maddy looked down at the two bombs she had left. "I'll go back to my secret lab and experiment a little more. I dunno if I should leave the bombs that powerful or not..." She said, leaving the desert and taking off her goggles.

Dark, who had discovered the garage, was having a field day taking things apart. So far he's made a rocket-launching motorcycle, a jet pack, and a beanie with a massive propeller that actually flies.
"... Okay what to build next... Well a massive bipedal robot that can launch nukes from anywhere would be good... But I don't have that much equipment. And I'm short on staff.
Dark begins to pace, glancing over at large blueprints on the wall. Blueprints labeled DARK 2.0.
"If only I could get that stuff..."
Mawile is currently digging through the fridge, looking for food.
