HoH continues to exist because of a bunch of phone calls I received in the middle of the night while in Washington DC. I recommended against the mass ban and that message went to Doji and the rest of the mods active in Shem's office and they convinced Noraboo not to shut the whole thing down.
Then a bunch of HoH officials patted themselves on the back for "facing down" the admin. rolleyes

The inability to include everyone last year stemmed from it (the story) being done by one person.
I suggested we get him a separate "staff" to help with story, but it never manifested, so what you see is one guy, trying to respond to EVERYONE, and inevitably missing people.
Noire: I'm with Kenji now. I wanna know where you buy your weed. If it can make me trip up THAT sort of s**t, I might have to start toking.

The levi-verse the closest thing to one solid, cohesive little world that we have (that I know of). I view it as our true canon playing feild, with all the other guilds/bars/commerce stuff being locations inside of it.
Point being, I have Jex living there, outside Latent, and there's a plotline that I was planning on spurring. Anyone interested would be welcome to get involved.
I also have to wonder: how do you all perceive our canon environment?

I view the canon world my character lives in as loosely as possible.
Which essentially means that - at the moment - I patently ignore the Levi-verse, since I never RP there, and never really have. Not because I don't like it, but because I have no means of catching up to what the ******** is even going on IN that universe, so I just try to follow as loose of a cohesive world as possible.
Which also helps account for stuff like Commerce.

Sokoya and Lolli: I agree with you both. There is a level of inclusive behavior, and that's just how it is.
The best thing to do is go out and make your own friends and your own reputations and then bring them to these things and just play for the fun. People will notice you when you stir up a buzz.

We don't have one, in my opinion.
Everyone curls into themselves and PLOTS with there own ilk in a generally similar world called 'Gaia', which has Samurai and Space Marine and anything else rolling around in wherever they are.
Levi is probably THY best example of a bunch of people avoiding what little 'canon' world there is in Gaian open board roleplaying in favor of 'closed' borders type s**t.
All in all?
We all live in our own shitty world.
