Good luck, Oni!
Sorry about last night, guys. I posted with the full intention of sticking around but I had some medical issues shortly after I posted. All day, I'd been having these "episodes" where the room felt kinda.. odd. My head would hurt and I'd just feel overall weird. It would go away after awhile and I'd go on with my day. Well, not long after I posted last night, my head started hurting and the room was spinning. It freaked me right the hell out because I've never been dizzy in my entire life. Since I was dizzy, my stomach hurt too. I ended up in the bathroom crying like a baby. I was a mess. Brian did actually call the "Urgent" line for my OBGYN and she actually personally called us. She said for one, no sitting in the bathroom.. too many germs (and my incision is already infected). I had to lie in a dark room which ended up making things.... er... "come up." Not fun. I think I must have been entirely asleep by 10p, hence the reason I'm up so early. Apparently, the antibiotic I was prescribed does not get along with my body. Now I'm not supposed to take the things but it worries me since I obviously need some sort of antibiotics with this incision and i don't see her until Wednesday and then she's going out of town for a bit.
bah..

At least you're actually around in the non-a** end of the clock times of day unlike me ha ha. But hey s**t and real life happen, and they gotta take precedence over our shennanigans here.

I've only ever had minor surgery before, but even that sucked hard. I hates convalescing.

Me too. This wouldn't still be an issue, if this one area near my belly button would ******** get it's act together and I didn't have to get re-stitched. It doesn't look like I'll need it re- re-stitched, but I dunno about this infection crap. I have no idea how it even got infected. Brian and I have been keeping it super clean, antibacterial soap, peroxide and now, Betadine. Grr..

I've had a few major surgeries but no infections.
My mother had a few problems when she had her ovaries taken out but nothing you're experiencing.
Best of luck.

Abdominal incisions are notorious for taking a long time to heal, because they are in a place that just wont stay closed, or that can get easily infected. Just sitting up can make you pop a stitch D:
I know it sucks, because basically you're stuck being a slug for 4-8 weeks.
But at least you have a helpful manservant there~ heart Abuse your authority, I know that used to always make me feel better. whee

Guh, drawing. So painful and mind numbing while doing it, so rewarding when looking at it after.

Okay, now I think when you're using post styles in profile comments, you've gone way too far. As seen on my main's comments

I've been fuzzy and weird all day. To top it off, I have some sort of acidy something. Heartburn? Who the heck knows. I never get heartburn. I swear, this stupid Bactrim better be out of my system so I can function tomorrow.
My youngest sister is now also 14. Her birthday was Friday. Wow, it's freaky to me that she's that old. It also weirds me out that some people from high school have kids a bit older or around her age and I'm sitting here with none. Lame!
*stumbles off to bed*

Yesterday was my first time with a booth of my own at Staple! The Independent Media expo. My friend Jeff and I shared a table, with me selling posters to my Bluestar Comic, and Jeff selling original painting that took him over 24 hours to make, for only 20 bucks; or water color sketches for 5.00.
Unfortunately, neither one of did very well. Jeff sold 1 painting of 3, while giving the other two to friends of his that showed up for 50% off.
Where as I only sold 5 posters, after I cut the price from 3.00 to 2.00 and later to 1.00. But it's my fault for selling poster with out a comic book.
Granted it seem not very many people did well, my guess do to the rescission. Like the person across from use with a web comic called Kidd and Geezer (funny stuff by the way) sold maybe 5 books that where 2.00. Plus the main draw for people was that Guy Davis (artist on BPRD and creator of Marquis) had a table. But the upside is that I meet a lot of great people and hopefully got people interested in my book for when it is published. Plus it was great networking. Also Jeff and I learned a few things for next years expo, such as bring a cool of snakes and drinks, so you don't have to pay 2 for can sodas or 4.00 for pizza.

Thanks for the well wishes guys!
Zack, I'd say it's probably a good sign that you were actually able to sell some posters without even having a comic yet! It's a long hard road in comics, but so far from your updates it seems like you're pretty dedicated to doing whatever it takes to make it!
