The nearest place that shows it is ten miles away. =(
Will have to wait for video.. Not that my parents would let me see it anyway...

That's unfortunate :/
Your parents don't need to know you rented it do they?

By the time it comes to video(unless they do it super fast for some reason) I'll be living in FLorida, so no. XD
Although even though I'm 18, they still won't let me rent, even if I bloody pay for it, that move about the sex talks/research by the guy(I forget what the movie's called, but it was based on some book about sex questions people are usually too embarrassed to ask) from Blockbuster, because my dad says "He's a quack". :/
They wouldn't let me say bareback mountain when I asked because "It's wrong," and after I bought "Why do Men Have Nipples"(it's a book) behind they're backs, which actually has almost nothing to do with sex or gender at all, my parents told me to "not show the book in public", even though it's a New York Bestseller. :/

Oh, that's just this month.
I'm sure there's tons of things from previously that I'm forgetting or have blacked out.
The only major one I actually remember is being yelled at when I came out by my dad, saying something about "You're not BI ANYTHING!" the day a "friend" told me I couldn't go to the movies with her since her parents wouldn't want me having sex with or something stupid like that(I'm female irl, for those who don't know) so that was a double whammy.
And then we went to "Wonderland", some playboy-esque scenes in that comedy play in Reno, Navada. I mentioned how the women were hot and something about a strip club.. The look on my dad's face was akin to slapping me multiple times. I got a stern lecture after that.
My mom mostly just tries to ignore it, my dad is where the problem's at.
Edit: the only thing I can remember my mom saying about it is that "people don't need to know as soon as you meet them" and "try not to introduce yourself as one". Or something like that. I can understand. I mean, I was a little put-off, but she asked nicely. Plus, she is pretty active in church and volunteering everywhere so if everyone started getting onto what I was, I'm sure she'd be laughing stock and demoted a few ranks, and never get her Master Gardener's liscene.. thing.. That she's trying to get.
So that I can understand. My dad is just witht he whole "It doesn't exist and you're a liar" attitude.
Edit2: because of the whole uncomfortable attitude and such, I've decided to not come out as androgyne to anybody any time soon, which is most likely never, unless by some miracle I get enough money to go through surgery, and then I guess I'll have to explain it. But I don't think my family - or even 90% of society, is ready for a concept like androgyne. I mean. They're still having trouble with trans and asexuals. Let alone intersexed.

My mother says some weird things sometimes. Whenever she sees me with a new boy she whispers, "does he know about the boy thing?" It's kind of cute actually, despite it being irritating.
What kind of surgery are you thinking of exactly?

Breast augmentation and a hysterectomy. If those are the correct terms...
Breast reduction and taking out the uterus.

If I were to get surgery I think I'd be going along the same route as you guys. But that's a big, huge if right now.

I'd like to see that TransAmerica movie, but I dunno is it gonna come to Finland.. Some movies won't come here until they're released as DVD. And not even then. Like for example 'Alone in the Dark'.. It never was in theatres and can't find it as DVD.. confused

That's unfortunate. I hope it does make it there. If not you must rent it when you go on one of your trips.

Unfortunately I don't have enough money to go any trips.. sad But in imdb, there's information that in Finland certification is 15, so I think that it'll come to Finland.
