Tokeru just held his arms out helplessly. "Hey, i didn't invite anyone, i asked Simon to meet me after it ended. and Edith forced me to return, i mean. Edith showed me the error of my ways and encouraged me to return and apologize."

Joey took another sip, setting the empty glass down after parching it of it's contents. He turned in his barstool to face the others and stepped down, walking behind his leader casually. "And I just came for a spot of my good ole friend al cohol." he said, adding to his leader's defense.

Kuro looked to Neko 'Well now that this meeting is over, does that mean I can finally kill this unwanted hunter?' he said to her now looking at Tokeru 'I mean it's not as if he is even an elder or leader who should of been here' Kuro now held three thorwing knives in each hand 'Oh my, my, this is neutral ground' he smirked 'I guess I'll see you outside then' he then snickered to himself.

Alexz took several long drags and blew the smoke in front of her slowly. She leaned against the wall of the club her body on a diagonal and her right light slightly bent.
Watching the changing hues of the sky was something she hadn't done in so long. The sunrise was a beautiful thing, and she had missed out on it for too long.
Her fangs elongated as the hues of the sky became slightly pinker. Her breaths began to get shorter and her eyes remained glued to the clouds.
Is this how she wanted it to see the sun, out after a meeting in the middle of the city?
Alexz's fingers went limp and dropped her cigarette onto the cold pavement. She could see the mortals wake, here them getting ready for various activities of the day. Her eyes began to well, she wanted this moment to be speial, not like this.
She quickly ran back up the stairs and inside, not daring to look back with the fear of her eye catching a sun ray. The door closed quickly behind her and she rested against it, catching her breath for the moment.
She stared blankly, imagining how the warmth of the skin would feel on the skin that had been ice cold for so long. Alexz had imagined it so much that she became aware of her fang poking deeply into her bottom lip.
Awaking from her dreamlike trance she tried to steady her breathing and closed her eyes for a moment. When she opened them her irises contracted to a thin line. She could feel a hunger building in her stomach but knowing her hunger tolerance made her last longer without feeding than most. She concentrated in making her fangs retract and stood up straight.
Alexz looked over to Neko and gave a small friendly smile.
"It's nice to see you again." she said lowly.
((I recall very well Neko telling those who were not part of the elders meeting to not post. Read again, you obviously didn't do it careful enough.))

It can't be too good with Kyrre, Rogue, and Rikku acting all high and mighty!"

Joey watched as the elder went their seperate ways with worry in his mind. With the omen he felt in the air, combined with the elders meeting all in one place, something didn't sit right. "Tokeru....is there something going on?....." he asked his leader, not wanting to be caught off guard in the end.

"Of course there is something wrong kid," she muttered as she walked over to the bar, motioning to the bartender to bring her a drink. "And i would watch that leader of yours. When he does something, you do the opposite. That should be your goal for staying alive." As he set down a shot of vodka in front of her, she picked it up and brought the glass to her lips, tilting it gracefully so that the clear liquid slid into her mouth before she put the glass back down and turned to look at the new comer. "Good luck," she said with a smile before breaking away from him to join Krii once more. She wanted to get out of here. She was growing increasingly aggressive with Tokeru being in the room once more.

Joey shook his head as Kerigan walked past him. "Nobody seems to be a fan of you do they?" he said to Tokeru before walking towards the door. Well, I'm of...this is getting too hot for me" he said before taking leave.

Alexz slowly walked over to the chair beside Neko and settled herself into it. She pushed a strand of hair behind her ear and nodded.
"Everything is fine. I'm just a little...hungry, that's all." she lied, as convincingly as she could, "and things in the coven are...well, as you can see, hectic. It certainly doesn't help with those three."
She grinned, though she was slightly forced to respect them she highly disagreed with their mode of thinking. Leaning back into the chair, she made bottle of red wine uncork, pour into a glass, and return to its spot on a shelf. The cup floated into Alexz's awaiting hand and she took a short sip.
"How are things with you? How is Asmodai?" she asked.

"Things are fine, same as usual, I suppose. I wish he was around more often than he is, but given what he's been doing, I can't really complain. That, and everytime he comes back home it's like our honeymoon again. He hardly lets me leave the bed, even to go to the bathroom, and spends as much time as possible with me. Oh God, how I love him." Neko said, some longing and passion in her voice and eyes as she spoke of her husband. He brightened her day whenever she saw him and he knew just what to do to take a horrible day and make it bright. "I still wish he was here more than he is."

Alexz smiled, she could sense Neko's love and affection for him. It was a shame he was so busy, even Alexz hadn't seen him in such a long time, she couldn't imagine how it felt for Neko.
"Well it must be exciting to have a honeymoon that often." she said with a giggle and a smile, "What is he doing that is keeping him away?"

The currently hazel eyes of the rather masculine female vampiress rolled upon hearing the comment escape her lover's mouth. She then walked over to him and patted him on the shoulder with a smile. "Good to know that you at least apologized. It would have been more meaningful if you were sincere but we'll work on that ... never. Okay ... so ... what's on the agenda for you? Anything?"
She wanted to return to haven, more so, she wanted to raid Mauser's new base all by herself and gun down as many evil subordinates he had until she reached him but even Edith knew that it was impossible. Even if she was a vampire, that did not mean that she was invincible, it just meant that she'd live forever so long as she did not get decapitated or pumped full with UV rounds or walk into the sunlight.
