They ARE awesome!
*can't wait to put them in her collection*
And I'm simply rejoicing that we're not putting my cat to sleep. My mom's boyfriend told her it was wrong, and we get to tranq her for the move instead!

[MORBID STORY WARNING]
I raised a gorgeous aquarium of fresh-water tropical fish for a middle-school independent project. It took me the course of about two months to get the entire thing set up and all the fishies moved in a little at a time. There was a minor tragedy in the beginning with my little Tetras getting sucked into the filter, but the problem was solvable and I thought it would be okay.
At the end of the quarter, the fishies had to come home with me. So we made them a little home in our house, on the main thoroughfare between the laundry room, bedrooms and family room.
I was called out of my bedroom one evening to hear my two-year-old nephew's little voice explaining "We were workin, Grandma! We gabe da fishies a baf!" and to see the holocaust that used to be my aquarium.
The helpful children had poured about half a bucket of powdered laundry detergent into the aquarium. All you could see was somewhat foamy, milky water, and the current from the filter dragging little fish bodies across the front of the aquarium every few seconds. I think I tried to puke, and then I cried, and THEN I had to clean the whole thing up.
I will never raise fish again. [END MORBID STORY]

Meriko Your dogs aren't very discriminating, are they? *lol* That's cute that they lick the hamsters through. ^^ Nope XD And yes it is :3 But the hamsters usually get nervous when they do. Kimini - Eeeew x-x That sucks.....We had to clean up a skull with blood and little pieces of skin on it... God, I feel sick thinking about it. Edit: Nessy - That's great! ^^

Follow Up Morbid Story
I bought a pair of zebra finches when I was a wee lass. One being a male and the other being a female, and the species in general not being fussy about having a lot of flying room or live food, I soon had five birds instead of two. My love of zebra finch raising was established. My father built me a larger cage, and the zebra finches showed their appreciation by crowding even that cage to the bursting point. I took a few nestlings to the local pet store and found that the pet shop owner was very happy to exchange bird food and fish for baby finches. My love of zebra finch raising became firmly rooted.
Over the years, the three foot long cage was converted into a nesting rack inside the eight foot by ten foot aviary we built in the back yard. The back yard that was smack in the middle of a neighborhood of cats. Oh yes.
My father and I built that aviary to last. We dug the sides down into the ground so that an adventurous dog couldn't dig under, we used fine wire mesh so that the birds couldn't squirm out of the holes, and we nailed everything down tight so that the neighborhood cats couldn't rip into the aviary and feast. We didn't figure on the fact that a cat doesn't think too far ahead, however. Even though the cats couldn't get into the aviary or get a bird out of the aviary, it didn't stop a cat from squeezing one paw and a shoulder in and swatting at birds.
I walked in to feed the birdies one day and stepped on something. We sold all the birds and tore down the aviary soon afterwards.

*switches topic* Mmm, breakfast~ I love American breakfasts, but it's a real Japanese breakfast that really rings my bells. heart
On our honeymoon, Hubby and I went to Hawaii, and Hawaii caters to Japanese people quite wonderfully. Hubby always ordered a pancake-egg-bacon type breakfast while I purred over rice, miso soup, salt-grilled fish, and natto. They had natto! The Maui Princeton had NATTO! *swoons with joy*

The first guy is in Albany which is a few hours away and is fine, if he likes her, she has to go to PA and talk to the next guy which yet again is a few hours away, and if that guy likes her, she has to see the last person in Hawaii XD So I'm hoping the first two people like her. I want to go to Hawaii @-@

I'm bad when it comes to Japanese food. I'll really only eat maki rolls and teriyaki chicken.
Probably because there's too much miso and fish in Japanese food, and I don't like either. Chinese all the way!
