Jedi Sasquatch That's why I was afraid to post this in the first place. I thought there might not be much of a point to it. Because I understand that it's not really anybody's fault here, it's just how things are.
But I guess I figured that since this is the secrets thread, nobody is going to judge. Hopefully I was right... Nah, I feel the same way when I'm newer-ish somewhere. Like "Am I part of the club yet? What about now? For ******** sake, come on!"

Such a Catastrophe And Jedi, I know how you feel, but you just have to butt in, get to know everyone well. It's easier to try and help when you know people better, I think. Whereas, just right out the door you post something, people don't know how to take it, you know? Like, "does he want responses, or is he venting? will saying this be rude or too forward?" run through my head sometimes. ⇒ | ^ This

Yeah, exactly. And I'm always afraid that if I try too hard to be part of the group people will get annoyed, so I try to stay in the background, and then get afraid that if I do that I'll stay there forever. So yeah, paranoia, pretty much.
Nice to know I'm not the only one that experiences this.

Nice to know I'm not the only one that experiences this. Completely normal reactions, unless I'm not normal. Just keep shoving yourself in peoples' faces, it's what worked for me. We rarely dislike people for trying to make friends. Cleo would kick our butts.

Yeah. Like, I joined in August but only became active in October--and now you have trouble shutting me up. But after a while, when people get to know you for who you are, they like you. Like these guys love me. Right? RIGHT?? scream
xd But yeah..... Don't worry, the z!CB is a place where no one gets left out or ignored. It's so damn friendly! Sorry if you've been feeling left out lately. . . Let's be friends!! ^^ | ⇐▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀

It's no problem at all. I've just been really depressed lately, and I don't have many people to go to for comfort these days.
I'll try to be less needy, I swear. >_<

Alrighty, I'll keep that in mind.

Backlog read. Not everyone feels comfortable talking about everyone's issues - and sometimes it's easier to just say nothing than to say something that might make things worse. But you can be sure folks are reading, and if anyone thinks of anything comforting to say, they'll say it. Sometimes it's just the luck of the draw on who sees any given post.

What Nes said. Keep sharing! It's a way to get it out, even if nobody knows how to assist.

Nespin Fernagon Not everyone feels comfortable talking about everyone's issues - and sometimes it's easier to just say nothing than to say something that might make things worse. But you can be sure folks are reading, and if anyone thinks of anything comforting to say, they'll say it. This is true for me. I only really like to respond if I can relate to their problem, suggest possible solutions, or when I actually know a solution. It's not going to make anyone feel any better if every problem is just responded with a sad . And frankly, you aren't the only one who feels this way tbh. A lot of the secrets ARE carefully chosen and responded by readers and each person who gets "skipped" feel the same way you do. But again, see above. And tbh, I don't really look at this thread as much as I probably should heh. -x- When I was 7/8 years old, my dad gave my mom this really expensive beautiful golden clock. The bottom spins and I used to love looking and just watching it. heh. Now that they're divorced, I never knew what happened to it. Then out of nowhere, it appeared on the table looking very very new. I didn't really think about it until my step mom told me a few mintues ago how it came up. Apparently my step mom's work had a "white elephant" gift thing and when she was looking for a gift to put in, my dad pulled that out of the basement and said that she can use that as the gift. But my step mom thought it was too beautiful so she cleaned it and put new batteries in it and such. I guess my dad didn't tell her what meaning that clock really had. My step mom thought it had never been used before until I told her (whoops). I know I'm not going to step in and just tell her the meaning of the clock, but it kinda makes me sad that she doesn't know and my dad tried to give it away. Sure, my parents have been divorced for years; but I dunno, I still feel that tinge of sadness when I pass by that clock.

My parents have no proof of my identity. My first guess was they stole me from Mexico but I'm too pale for that so I must really be Canadian.

I can't keep it to myself anymore. I need to tell someone about my secret evil plan.
I've been playing Katamari on the Rocks on repeat for 2 days, quiet enough that it's audible, but not loud enough for anyone to get annoyed. Slowly, it's getting stuck in my dad and brother's heads. I know because I keep hearing 'naaaa na na na na na naa na...' from people who aren't me.
