Tonight's my annual sleepover thingy at my grandma's house. We always do a puzzle and then go out for breakfast in the morning. But she makes me cook s**t every time, too. I just want to hang out and work on the puzzle, but she always insists on teaching me how to cook something. I don't know if she somehow got it in her head that I like to cook (I don't), or if she just thinks that every woman should know how to cook, but it's starting to make me dread my annual visits. The part that really pisses me off is that she doesn't do the same thing with my brothers.
Apparently I'm learning how to make soup this time -_-

I read up on sleep paralysis and hypnagogia/hypnopompia today, and now I'm absolutely terrified. A few months ago, I lived in fear of the basic concept for a while, until I was told that it couldn't actually happen. Now that I know otherwise, I think I'm going to throw up. I'm so scared I'm not even shaking (sorta like how I normally have violent urges when I'm angry, but on rare occasions I get so enraged that the urges just dissolve and I'm left with this eerie calm).
Also, I read "I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream" after finding out, and while things like that usually go above and beyond High Octane Nightmare Fuel for me, it had zero effect. Part of it was probably knowing most of the plot beforehand (thanks, TV Tropes), but I suspect most of it was the fact that I was already petrified.
Moral: Reality is scarier than fiction can ever be.

Sorry for the double-post, but there's something else bothering me.
When I was at my friend's house on New Year's Eve, we were playing video games all night until she noticed it was 11:59, so we managed to catch the last two seconds of the ball-drop, and then the screen started showing tons of people kissing. Before I could ask her to turn it off, she was all like, "Wanna make out?" I assumed she was joking, but now I'm suddenly not sure. >.>; I know it's most likely the fact that I'm in a really nervous mood and it may have amplified my general tendency to overthink things, but I can't stop thinking about, like, stories where the character jokes around like that as their way of confessing without really doing so, and although we've never really talked about it I'm pretty sure she's bi, and I'm definitely going to ask her about it later but I can't right now cause I'm at my school and she's at hers and the wait is making me feel anxious about what probably wouldn't be a big deal otherwise.

Sorry for slamming the door this morning for being pissed at three hours of sleep. I'm also sorry for not understanding that it's perfectly fine for you to throw a damn over rack, just because a pizza fell off of it, and also for not understanding that breaking a thirty dollar disk is fine, because I accidentally broke something. ARGHHHHHHHHHHH, I am going to STRANGLE my boyfriend if he does this no call no show crap one more time when we have plans! He SAID he was going to be over early yesterday morning, so he told me just to wait up and not fall asleep after work... I waited up 'til 2 PM and he hadn't shown by then, so I went to bed. The a*****e finally called me around 5 from a gas station to tell me he had a family situation to take care of. You know what? I understand he's busy. BUT HE CAN ******** CALL ME BEFORE HE LEAVES THE CITY IF HE'S CANCELLING PLANS. Seriously, he didn't just HAPPEN to end up an hour or so away; at some point he got in a car and drove there. All I ask is that if he's promised to spend the day with me, that he calls me as soon as he knows he can't make it. Not half a day later when I've already been waiting for hours and hours. I hate it when he pulls this crap anyway, but I am also really ill right now and I need to sleep more than anything to get through it. It's kicking me when I'm down to ask me to stay awake for hours and hours, for absolutely no reason, when I really need to sleep.

I fell over today on the way to college. I slipped on the ice and hurt my leg D:< It was this slope thing, and I was blatently sliding, so I thought, FUDGE IT D:< So then... I fell over. D: I also had a snowball thrown at my leg too D:
I also made a fail snowman lmao. Eww, it looks disgusting. It looks like... Jabba... D: I dropped its head because I was playing around with it, and my bro was like OMG WATCH IT D:
