I spent a lot of time stalking the GCD when users were discussing the offers that worked best -- in the end, however, you're selling your personal information and phone number, and you will receive spam mail/emails/calls.
Under the "free" tab, the ones I found to be best were the offers with gray text beneath stating "Receive Gaia Cash when you submit valid personal information and reach the page labeled Final Steps." As long as you reach the final steps page, and recall what it looks like so you can report it if it doesn't go through.. It's all just survey s**t; no/no/yes/no five hundred thousand times, "skip" here and "pass" there. Occasionally click yes on the pages with 20 offers with advertisement buttons or lists of offers, only to click no on the next confirmation page.. it's boring as hell, but I don't mind it.

....... also, I sort of just learned the school I wanted to apply to second has this mandatory 2 day orientation thing, where you're supposed to pay for meals/lodging and s**t.
And the last one is.... er... wednesday/thursday. And I can't get my app fee, pay for that, and get it all squared away by that time. I think anyways, going to have to call pplz.
So it looks like I'll be going to Oshkosh after all, and I'll just take art classes/random classes the first year, and transfer to poitn next year.
But it means I have to move to oshkosh instead of point. But if I can't get into point, what'm I gonna do? So since I'm already cleared for Oshkosh as soon as I send in the fee, Imma call people and figure crap out and then probably just do taht. xD
So tired. Why cant I have my enthusiasm/energy from two months ago to use now? Man. sad
If I had a job I could just work for six months and not owrry about ti and then to go college in the fall. But, balls, jobs are hard to find.

Whoops, false alarm on the college thing. Apparently it'll be awright cuz my circumstances are weird!
I NEED LUCK WITH THE FOLLOWING-
1. Getting awesome apartment of cousin's friend, which depends on this lady getting this other job.
2. Managing to get into UW Point even with tight time constraints
3. Not going completely insane.
I'd like to take a moment to thank my families because without my Uncle, Grandma, and my well-informed/connected cousins, I would like not know wtf is going on right now.

Yay for weird circumstances! (Kind of?)
I had a college freak-out with Darrell the other day on the phone. I was looking for colleges to apply to and thought the deadline for Converse (an all girls college, LESBO FANTASIES, AHOY~) was Aug 1, and I haven't taken the ACT or the SAT yet. So I was registering for the ACT and found out I can't take it til September 12, so I was like in tears, saying I was a irresponsible failure, etc etc, and he was like, "Janine, are you sure that Aug 1 isn't the DECISION deadline and not the application deadline?" And I was like " . . . Oh." And felt all better about my laziness. heart
I'll wish you all sorts of luck, Cassy! I find four leaf clovers just walkin' around so I think I've got good luck when it comes to these sort of luck things. I'll send you their luck all telepathic-like.

Nah . . . you have to apply for the colleges by like December so they can accept you for the next year. Then you pick out of the colleges you got accepted to which one you want to go to and submit your decision form before the school year starts the year after your senior year.
YEAH I HOPE SO TOO. Apparently I've already registered for the SAT before (which I haven't) so I can't re-register without my code . . . so I have to ask my college advisor about it when I get back to school. You don't have to take both, but I kind of want to.
My brother took the ACT back in 7th grade and made like an awesome grade on it. Got national recognition and everything. I'm hoping to borrow his smartness. >.>;;

I'm attempting to inspire backbone/revolt in the players of neopets, using plain and simple fact.
The prizes for the altador cup thingy are halfassed and they're constantly dumbing the site down even when their audience remains to be early teens/families.
But they gave a prize that's buyable in the shop wiz as the TOP prize. O_o And the second best prizes sell for like 600k (Yooyus)
So basically everything that happened last year is happening (Bad prizes, people complain, people cry for some sort of word/response from TNT, TNT says nothing, explains nothing, apologizes for nothing, people start intimidating others by popular opinion to stop voicing their complaints, anyone with a negative opinion is shot down by dozens of people flooding the thread, everything calms down into complacency once more and nothing changes)
They've been getting better, been putting that 'personal' feel back into Neopets....
But the fact that they don't even reply when there's such a huge outcry speaks a lot. Unless it hurts their pockets they're not going to do a thing about it.
(But I'm glad I didn't hardly play this year, because I figured it wouldn't be worth it.)
They have a lot of repeat prizes from other years in the shop. Plus they put retired items from years ago in the shop, which is a MAJOR nono. Once it's retired, it's NOT supposed to come back.
There's so much wrong with that site. The thing is it's as addictive as crack. I don't know why.
I couldn't ever quit because I consider all the stuff on my account mine. I don't want to be parted with it.

I got 3000 points and didn't even make it to rank 5 out of 20. 8D Yay!
