The Fiend of the West If the books are any indication though, their perceived strength is mostly perceived. If that's how it is in the lore, then how come using that in RP is considered against their lore? >>

Exp: That exists in a few games. Pre-f** SWG being the most popular.
It works very well, and it is possible that this is how the game will work. Again, the game is slated for late 2012 so we have NO idea anything about this game beyond a 1:02 trailer.
Its a TPS.
It has Space Marines and Chaos and Orks.
That is all we know.

exp. 99 But still, would it be truly that difficult to arrange a system where a player can start with a blank slate and pick what he likes as he goes? Infinite diversity, and all that. That's what FF14 promises, but they still haven't released any real details on it. The problem with doing that in an MMO compared to a single player game is balance. Particularly in a game that will definitely have a large PvP element to it, it's much easier to balance "this, with options" than it is to balance every possible combination of every available element in the game.

I'd comment about what I think about that post in Jello's fight, but if I did that I'd be giving hints/advice as to what I'd judge correctly. I'd rather let Jello surprise me.
However, I can predict a drop in clarity points for someone...

True, balance would be a b***h.
Also, granted, info on the 40k MMO is still at a premium. I'm looking forward to it, and keeping fingers crossed.

...yeah, pretty much. Except only one hand on the sword, which should be bigger than my character, and the guy has spikes growing from everywhere. So yeah, Sigfried vs Nightmare... except replace Sigfried with Kid Link who just had his Deku Shield burned off.

Tenkai Matsumoto I'd comment about what I think about that post in Jello's fight, but if I did that I'd be giving hints/advice as to what I'd judge correctly. I'd rather let Jello surprise me. However, I can predict a drop in clarity points for someone... I've decided that I'm just going to be the bigger man about it and... go. There are few enough posts in the fight already, I don't need to be hanging on for a clarification when we only get 1/day out anyway.

I just hope I don't get hit by a bus before Universe of Starcraft.

The Crossed Fox Man, you're lovin' the Italics today, aren't ya Mistah J? It's the only way that I can really express the depth of my emotion in this venue. I italicize because I love.

Yeah, looks about right.
Especially the part about the disco where he dances on the heels of his feet.
