Atem considered this. "Well... What's his name? I'm sure you can go gather up your own team of men, Seto. You've done it enough times with Bakura." A look dawned on his face. "Hey, that blonde was the one with Bakura, wasn't he? He's probably staying with the thief. You should tell the troops to also look for Bakura. The two will probably be close." Seto tensed, then put on a small smile and nodded. "Of course, pharaoh. We wouldn't want the two to be working together any more. Now, if you'll excuse me..." He pardoned himself, feeling the sudden urge to leave. He took Ayira's hand and walked down the hallway, away from Atem.

Ayira quickly followed seto holding on tight to his hand.
Nanu gave atem a small kiss and smiled.

Seto went back to his-- their-- bedroom, closing the door and frowning. "The pharaoh knows of the oasis. If he thinks Mariku is still with Bakura, he'll try to look there." He said, expressing his concern. He wasn't going to have Atem trying to screw up the thief's family's life any more than it already was. "But I swear I'll hunt that man down. I'm going to find their daughter. Dead or alive. I swear." Atem smiled, kissing Nanu back. "Did I handle that well?"

"And for you." Seto said, taking a hold of both Ayira's hands and looking at her wrists. "Did you want to go to a healer about these?" "Wonderful." Atem purred, kissing Nanu again. "Things are going well today, don't you think? I hope this luck continues." Mariku looked at the little girl in front of him. "You're annoying. You whine, you squirm, you poop and pee, and I don't want to feed you." He stated clearly to Femi. "I wonder if your brother would have been as bothersome as you. I should have grabbed him as well."

"Ugh... You annoying, despicable child." Mariku growled, looking around himself. He had gone back to his underground home, and was sick of just sitting here with this little girl. He wanted to gag her again.
"Now..." Atem said, placing his hands on Nanu's hips and pulling her closer. "I think this gives us a nice reason to celebrate, don't you?"
"Oh, shoot." Seto muttered, glancing at the door. "I forgot to tell the pharaoh about how we're getting married. Oh, well, that can wait until later." He smiled at Ayira.

Femi contined to scream.

"We could go to the bedroom to celebrate..." Atem said slyly, smiling at her with a -wink wink- look. "Or I guess you could start getting used to your priestess position and go join Mahado in the library. I'm sure you'd have some fun in there, reading whatever the hell it is he reads." Seto kissed Ayira back before pulling away gently. He didn't know why, but he felt slightly awkward being intimate with Ayira. He knew he had been a jerk, going away for a month and making her worry, and truth be told, he didn't think that he deserved Ayira's attention. He had seen Bakura and Rei together and knew that those two had a deep connection, a true love. He had never felt very strongly towards someone, and didn't exactly know if he was doing this right. Was it too fast? Was he supposed to do things differently? Mariku sighed and picked up the little girl, getting to his feet. He jiggled her in an attempt to get her quieter, but it was more like he was shaking her. He should have killed her already. Instead he was stuck trying to keep her alive. What was up with that? It was because of one crazy, fleeting thought. This girl was still a baby, and after a while she would forget about her birth parents. He could raise her himself, and then later somehow use her against the thief's wife, if she ever caused him trouble. If not, then she would continue to be a nice reminder of his fun he had.

Nanu chuckled "I'd like to go celebrate" nanu said giving him another kiss.
Ayira smiled softly and gave seto a hug.
Shaking only made it worse. Femi screamed and screamed.

Atem scooped Nanu up, bridal style, nuzzling her. "Well, then, we shouldn't keep each other waiting." He said, heading off to the bedroom. "You don't think we should... slow down, do you?" Seto asked, hesitating slightly.
