Worried about termies? I got a fool-proof plan.

Pack 2 demolies. even if they get one, the other will bring the heat upon them with AP2 plasma and d-cannon.

If they have 2 squads, then you're up s**t creek. Luckily, few SM players pack more than one, if any at all.

lol... termies are nice if they are on your side other wise it's "holy s**t everybody shot at that!!!" ninja i'm really worried someone is guna deep strike grey knights right into the middle of my army

If Knights drop behind you, a squad of ten Knight termies, then your basically screwed, unless you just literally pour fire on to them.

Best thing to do? Bury them under CC. Charge them with three or four squads of Guardsmen. They won't be able to make that many saves.

Dude tried to do this to me at gamesday, when I was rockin orks, before the new 'dex ruined the choppa rules.

Yah, they all died. Dead dead dead. Poor knights.

Now they rule, I love packing =][= units with my guard lists.

Oh! here's another good idea: get an ordo-hereticus nazi, and get a pack of arco-flagellants. Those things just wait in your guard battle lines until you get assaulted, and then you turn them loose like a pack of wild dogs and watch those termies turn into bloody scrap. Another nice thing about inquisitors is that they allow you to get squads of sisters and Schutstaffel--err--Stormtroopers in rhinos. I got a pair of rhinos in Tallarn 28th camo and insignia for this very reason. I want to get a land raider for my inquisitor to ride in and paint it up in tallarn 28th camo... Oh yeah, I love the possibilities of allying =][= and guard.

The only issue I see to painting that stuff with your Tallarn camo is that...the Inquisition, in battle, is all about the theatrics. Their Land Raider would be painted in the most audaciously contrasting colors to the environment as possible (if they were indeed Inquisition vehicles). I completely agree that taking Inquisition to supplement Guard is an incredible thing to do, especially in the CC department. Two units of Grey Knight Terminators can easily hold the flanks and protect a Guard force from getting absolutely mauled in assault. Well, providing that they don't get taken out by, say, a horde of Seekers or Bloodletters.

I'd like to imagine that the honorable Inquisitor Darius Razzel, who's been working with the heroic Tallarn 28th since the Cursus War, would learn to appreciate the tactical value of subtlety and camouflage. Besides, their Rhinos are already decked out in Tallarn insignia. No turning back now.

Ah, well, if there's old blood and history, no sense in changing it. After all, his this is the Imperium. Change means that something will be different, and DIFFERENT IS BAD!

To be fair, though, the Leman Russ variants aren't overly old. The Annihilator is only about five centuries old, if I'm correct. But I could be completely mistaken.

ok not every thing when it comes to STC's they seem fine (exluding the iron men maker, Ghost novel >.<)... as long as it kills stuff it's cool if it trims nose hair or something burning_eyes

To be fair, quite a few of the Space Marine won't trust Razorbacks because they've only seen six hundred or so years of service. Techpriests are even worse about this sort of thing, as they don't have any of the Space Marine Chapter Lineage to keep up by having to innovate. Yes, there are some vehicles that exist outside of the Mechanicus control, but they're far and few between.

So guys, when (not if, when) I start an Imperial Guard army, I'm going to fit as many Missile and Grenade Launchers as I possibly can.

Is this awesome?
