tower shield/spear combo... and of course charioteer schtuff...

but mostly spear/javelin

I'm not too sure, but I don't think they really had an unarmed 'style' of combat...

then, no... you'll probably find nothing on any sort of Egyptian fighting style

though if post-roman, just pick a roman style... shouldn't be too hard to do a search on

Why not use Capoeira or Vale Tudo.

Everyone without a named fighting style using their hands uses Vale Tudo anyway whether they know it or not.

UFC is a Vale Tudo(Vale Todo in spanish, which stands for No Holds Barred.) rip off...So now you have an idea of what Vale Tudo is.

And Capoeira is the famous brazilian style...You know, that looks like breakdancing...

Both styles are brazilian. Both are cool.

Use wikipedia if you wanna know more of an exact definition.

Vale Tudo is No holds Barred fighting.
Pretty much anything goes. Like pancratium.
You could call it MMA.

Fox, this may come as a surprise, but your first statement would sure help me more if I knew what UFC was.

But now I think I'll have to do some research into Capoeira. I have another character I think would work well with it.

That or some style that can easily incorborate a cleaver like weapon.

Use wikipedia to know what Vale Tudo, Capoeira and UFC is. If its an Egyptian character, then Pankration or Vale Tudo would fit him better. If its a female egyptian character, then Capoeira would fit her.

UFC is a mixed martial arts organization.

Televised. Supposedly the best MMA organization.

Though I disagree because other MMA setups will restore the fighters to standing up if they take too freaking long with ground work.

Anyway..

MMA is most known for kickboxing + grappling.
