Hmph. The theaters in my area refuse to carry it. No theater in 30 miles will show it. Yet they jump all over themselves to show "Hostel"... ****ing theatres.

I believe that the only theatre in my area won't take Brokeback mountain to it's list.. So I need to wait it to be published as DVD..

Today I'm going to job interview.. Hope I'd get the job!

It's a shame that they'll show Hostel but not Brokeback Mountain. Censorship displays the strangest priorities.

Speaking of movies I'm going to see Transamerica tonight. I've been waiting for it to come here for awhile. Kind of awkward movie for a date but I'm still excited.

I was wondering why you suddenly started showing up on AIM again...

They won't carry brokeback mountain here, either. None of the TV stations will play Book of Daniel(Is it daniel? Or jospeh?) either because of the tons of letters the christians/concervative parents sent.

Which just sucks.

Yeah. That's about as genius as the girl who said "'Passion of the Christ' HAS to be a true story! It was in the original language!"

My local theater wouldn't carry the first Harry Pootter movie, either. I had to go out of the county to see it. Not that I wanted to. Friends dragged me..

Yay! I got it! My first work day is gonna be 6.2, so ~week left this freedom. I'm gonna be 'teacher's little helper' in one of the elemetary schools in my living area.

What's Hostel, by the way?

I don't remember hearing about it at all. Local theatre probably isn't playing it.

I only heard about Bareback mountain after I saw a movie trailer watching another movie. No posters around or anything. Damn bible belt. =(

Hostel is a movie like Saw. Some jerks get tortured. The torture lasts 20 minutes in total. The rest is basically just female nudity.

Man I can't comprehend a theatre not showing Brokeback Mountain. I didn't think it was a big deal to show a movie about gay cowboys at all. Now that you all mention it I can see that it is controversial for some places.

Transamerica was really great. Sometimes it depressed me with just how real it could be. There was good humor. I was thoroughly impressed. I recommend it to everyone.

I have to find out where it's playing because I really want to see it (Transamerica). I only just found out about it at my tg support group on Monday.

I still have no idea what it(transamerica) is.

But, I think I can say that Hostel never showed up here...

Edit: Wow. I doublechecked what I said via moviefone and it appears we don't carry hostel but DO carry brokeback mountain.( eek I must've missed that) but I am certain about the whole book of daniel thing, since that was on the news...
